-Sees how cool Shenanigans was and gets all nostalgic about him-

TONIGHT, WE MAKE A SHENANIGANS REP.

-Troops rally at the arena-

WHO DO WE WANT?

Shenanigans!

HOW DO WE WANT IT?

As A Robot Arena Replica!

WHEN DO WE WANT IT?

Now!

LETS DO THIS!

-An army of thousand charge into the small bot lab to build Shenanigans-

10 HOURS LATER

Well. It was a valiant effort. but

yeah....

Yeah you're missing a lot...

Does the disc move on a servo like the real one?

Grim Reaper.  It doesn't look a lot like the original, a fact that I realized when I was in the finishing stages, but y'know, I wasn't in the mood to start from scratch.  So I'm not going to include pics of the original, and if you care about me you won't post any here.  The youtube videos of it are blurry as all heck, so maybe it'll look like it has a passing resemblence
(Image removed from quote.)

I know im necro-ing a little here but after lurking a little bit, this sticks out to me as a really awesome looking replica! from my memory that looks pretty damn good.

That would be very handsome. But no custom components.

Shannanogains is a difficult robot to emulate. Good try, though. I'm glad I started something.

Rebuild of Maximill.  This one has a thinner and more accurate disc, the ability to run invertible, and an actuator for raising the body to activate the crusher at the rear.

How long did this take to build? A lifetime?

This is Sonny we're talking about. Probably took him 20 seconds.

He's a perfectionist though.

Look how carefully he adjusted everything ON A CHASSIS SHAPE.

That's ok, I don't need AI'ing.  But the list is long and tedious, so if it doesn't scare you off, here's what nees to be done:

-Make sure each robot has the proper reskinned components.  For instance, I got lazy with Killer Carrot and gave it normal flippermakers instead of ones painted green, so I'd need someone to make green flippermakers and swap them out on Killer Carrot.  There's likely to be at least one occuurence of this in every bot.
-Make the AI pack accomodate DSL3.  The updated beater bars, extenders, etc cause problems for a lot of my bots.  Rename all the old parts' txt and GMF files ("flippermaker9060classic" for instance"), and rename them within the bot files that use them.
-Organize the AI Teams folders. All the good bots are down at the bottom half, and they need to be moved up.  In addition there are duplicate bots, and a few DSL AI bots that I decided to keep, they need to be found and removed.
-Organize the components that show up in the botlab.  There are a bunch of duplicates that should be hidden, and a bunch more that have blank preview screens  and crash the game.
-Deal with a few bots that crash the game.  Nasty Warrior and The Bat have mysteriously stopped working.  I don't have the time to conduct an investigation at the moment so someone will have to if those bots are to be included.
Alternatively, you could just release a copy of your game.

Just a thought :)

I could, but it's a disorganized mess that can't be used in competitive building.  Plus most of the custom components are hidden so you can't use them yourself.

Id still love it, just to play around with some bots.

You wouldnt have to modify your game. But its your choice, if its too much to ask. :)

Must have taken you forever to adjust the chassis to fit the cambered motorcycle wheels.
Another great rep, keep it up.

One of your best. Such an awkward looking design, but you've pulled it off brilliantly.
