Reversible Angles in DSL? You should use Slimbodies instead.

Could anyone try and make copies of the angled shell spinner skirt and solid shell disc components for me*? I need 1kg bright red skinned versions, but whenever I try and make a reskin of the component, both the original and copy will use the same skin, depending on the time I start RA2. If it ain't obvious what I'm trying to make a replica of, well here's one word: LADYBUG.
*PM me if you want to know which parts exactly and what size.

You can't do patterns on those skirts, only a solid color.  You change it by extracting the appropriate GMF, and changing all of the hex colors to the ones you want.  Also, you have to swap the first two and last two digits, (eg if you want the color 4FAB23, you enter 23AB4F) because the Complier will swap them around.

Yeah, you're not gonna be able to make a skinned Tentoumushi with shell panels. Joey did it years ago with a reskinned Ziggo shell, but it havoked way too much...

Grim Reaper.  It doesn't look a lot like the original, a fact that I realized when I was in the finishing stages, but y'know, I wasn't in the mood to start from scratch.  So I'm not going to include pics of the original, and if you care about me you won't post any here.  The youtube videos of it are blurry as all heck, so maybe it'll look like it has a passing resemblence

All things considered though, it's still a bloody good replica. I particularly love how clearly you've done the detail on the paintjob.   :D

Tanks guys.  The arm is a set of exenders and the new skirt from DSL 3.

Here's Mousetrap, it should work like the real one; it hovers in the "open" position thanks to some invisible ballasts

I did try, but I could never get 123's things to work.  The spring is a line of small Drums.

Perfect. Mousetrap used to be an old favorite of mine, when I was little. You probably don't have very many replicas left to make XD

Hammerhead 2.  These ludicrous frames are a lot easier to do in DSL 3.
