For Robochicken's eyes,  I would try axles and mini wheels ;)
They're quite heavy for the DDT, I don't think it's a good idea.

Pretty good, considering how restrictive stock is.  Did you try putting a Y extender on the burst to get the axe/flipper combo?  Also, that particular version had a head but no beak.
Nope, but i could go give it a shot.

Tanto.  I decided to color each piece according to the way the light hit it in the original photo.  Just for a lark.

Woden.  The flipper is useless so it'll go drill side first.

More Panda Monium. This was the longest single piston I could get, believe it or not.

Good looking reps sonny! Are you doing a failed to qualify tournament after resettis wars season 2?

Yep; it's hard to keep it under wraps given that I'm making them all now.

Looks good, if a little bit of a basic design. If you want to, you could BFE the piston longer, if you're aware how to.

Actually I don't know how to do that, is there a tutorial?

Not that I'm aware of. I stumbled across it while I was building Quark for last month's BOTM. I'll send you a PM if you like, I'm not sure if posting it here would break some sort of taboo.

Naah, BFE tips were posted in Thyrus' showcase a while ago, the worst that can happen is a bunch of people corrupting bot files. It does sound useful for replicas though, could you show me too?

True. It would help with building replicas, but it doesn't really serve any purpose for combat effectiveness, and people would know it was BFE anyhow.

When you open up the .BOT file, each component has a series of four numbers two lines above it. For baseplate-mounted components, this is usually "0.707107 0 0 0.707107". The fourth number is the depth scale of the component, which would give you a longer piston. To lengthen the component, increase the value, and to shorten the component, reduce it. If you want to invert the component (mount it upside-down), simply change the value to a negative.

Thanks.  Have we invented a way to make a component break off when the bot gets flipped?  Because I can think of a lot of bots of mine that that would help.
