I've been thinking of doing one do any of you have anything in mind for my low skill level?
Let me tell you something I learned through life... The weakest link in the chain isn't always the failure point.

OK, I've figured it out, now. Here's how the finished skin looks-

As you can see, the artwork's much crisper, better-proportioned, and overall much nicer to look at.

And on top of that, a shot from the back. It'll be even better once the skin for the skirts and the lid are on, but for the time being, I'm genuinely, genuinely pleased with this one.

EDIT: Also, an updated shot of the two PA Reps together-

Looking pretty solid. If you opened the component skins up in something like Paint.NET, and just sapped a little of the colour out of them, I reckon you'd be onto a winner there. And the game only has the edges/decals and such in 256x256, so it won't apply to any skins of a higher resolution. So you need to to all your editing in whatever image editing program you have. If you're still lumbered with MS Paint, I would highly recommend Paint.NET. It's basically like MS Paint, but with a whole heap of extra features, such as Layers (you will wonder how you survived without them), blurring, advanced area selections, and a lot more. Plus, it's free. =D

I also never knew the original PA rep was so slanty at the front.

No worries- I'm going to move onto the bits I need to reskin, next. I'm going to remove some of the stripes and add the Spider Graphic onto the srimech lid (Also changing the colour of the back light from red to blue), tidy up the skirts so that they match (and removing that upside-down Welsh Flag), and I'm going to have both of them paled to match the skin.

still has the same problems the firestorm rep has.......,.,.,..,,.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
How you make Alarm Clock Pizza is:
Step 1: You buy an alarm clock from the store, and then you have to break it and put it in the sauce.
Step 2: Fold the sauce in 5 slices and put it in the dough.
Step 3: Paint the eggs with a pitcher of a clock showing what time you want to wake up and eat pizza for breakfast.
Step 4: Put the eggs in the dough.
Step 5: Make it flat into a round shape and draw the time you want on it.
Step 6: Put some old steel to prevent other peple from stealing it.
Step 7: Make it flat and cut into 60 slices 1 for each minute in 1 our.
Step 8: Put in the oven set the timer to 30048813.2884 seconds and put the temperature on 'Volcano' setting.
Step 9: If you think it is take to long, then get yor alarm clock and set it to now so that it will ring and you can take it out.
Step 10: Take it out uv the uvin wen it is redy and go to bed. In the morning eat pizza and also eat yor hands bi mistake.

Also, thanks for the recommendation- I'll give it a try.

And yes it is, actually  ^^
Here's the original (In its Battlebots livery- I'm replicating the Series 5/Extreme 1 livery) robot for reference-

It is rather slopey at the front, one of the first things I added to the new one, in fact   :approve:

Oh, really? What are they? Even still, it's a work-in-progress, so I'll have time to sort them out.

basically what nfx said about the weaponry/moving parts unaltered and looking out of place (the fs rep has the same issue) and not fitting in with the rest of the bot but other than that  :thumbup

Ah yes, that. Once I can get some help with skinning the parts, that's what's going to be covered next- updating them so that they match with the rest of the robot and incorporate things missed out on the original, like the Spider graphic.
Yes they do look a little out of place at the moment, but like I say, it's a work-in-progress, and they'll be sorted out next- I wanted to show off how it was going so far.

I'm not sure about anyone else, but GF93 inspired me to re-do some of the replicas. Here is a new T-Minus:

Before editing this, it not only had RAD drive and cheaty darkcell batteries, but was actually a (very underweight) middleweight, NOT a lightweight. Here are the insides (with top armor and flipper removed) :

Has new, better NPC drive motors. This made it EXTREMELY hard to get the wheels on, but I managed to do it eventually. I decided to keep the judge burst there, seeing it's as powerful as it is without havoking. Used the normal T-Minus arm, because it has the same stats as the hidden one, it just weighs two more kilograms. Also has better chassis armor, 3mm titanium.

Now, I know what you're thinking: "How did you get it nearly to the weight limit?". Answer: .txt file editing. The weight for nearly all of T-Minus's custom parts were non-existent, and as default weighed 1Kg. Needless to say, I changed the weight on the objects that needed it, but I also improved the hitpoints on a couple of things: the top armor (3000 to 5500) because it's...well, armor, and also on the wheel guards because they cannot do their duty with a pitiful 400 hitpoints (changed to 3500).

Next to come from me is a new Ziggo that will hopefully be able to control itself.

On a side note, I decided to try tackling the skinning job myself- it's my first time doing it properly, and I'd say it went alright. And with that-

My DSL Panic Attack? Done. Do let me know what you think of it   :approve:

Sure thing, Foxtop- the download's here for anyone who wants it.

To get the new textures, just copy them into the Maps folder inside panicattack. I've also included the old textures as backups if need be. Enjoy, and Happy Roboteering!

Thank you
As for the new Panic Attack, I like it, but the skirts are bugging me. Not sure why, though...

I think it's because the skirts are actually longer than the chassis, so they stick out of the front a little bit. If the chassis was extended a little, that would help remedy it, and I think would look more in proportion. Looks a bit wide to me at the moment. But you've done a very good job with the reskinning, does it have a lifter motor in it like Firestorm, so the forks go up slower?

Thanks, mate- and yes, both the spikes and the srimech lid are powered by Lifter Motors. No Judges here    :gawe:

I agree with what NFX said. I also think you should sap the colour out of the skirts a bit more but that might just be me. Awesome rep!

Yes, I've tried that, but the black parts came out a bit too pale. If the cloud does have a silver lining though, it's that I removed that annoying upside-down Welsh flag. Nothing against it of course, but it didn't look right on the skirts.
Likewise, I do have an ED texture for the skirts though (and I can provide it if anyone wants it), and if anyone wants to have a go at applying it to them, then they're welcome to try.

Glad you all like it so far, though.

What you could do (you need to download Paint.NET for this), is reduce the Saturation a touch, maybe to about 80-90% or so, then up the contrast to get the blacks back if they look a bit off.
