Is it just me or does that bot resemble an IRL SFTW?

Nice replica in any case.  Lexan ain't easy to do.  Good idea to fake the tank treads like that.

Its performance certainly was, it takes a special breed of robot to lose to an Elmo doll.

Anyways, thanks.

Series 7, IIRC. Lost in Round 1. Got flipped over and couldn't self-right.

Actually, it was Series 5 against General Carnage 2. Got flipped over, sri-mech was lousy, and it was thrown out of the arena.

Someone really needs to make a DSL disk-statistic object using the Slim wheel model.

First off, I would like to officially say "Goddamn you all" to those in my DSL thread who mentioned Panic Attack :p

A funny story, I was writing a huge post in my DSL thread about how crap the original Panic Attack replica was. How I couldn't make it look any good, how the roof/srimech was crap and off model, and I wasn't going to waste anymore time on it. Then I finally fixed my issue with exporting paint templates, and realised I could paint in 512x512.

Then I painted the bottom.

THIS IS NOT NORMAL BEHAVIOUR! :rage But here it is, an accurate rep of the Series 7 Panic Attack. No srimech, massive ineffective wedge at the back, ineffective weapons at the front. Luvvly Jubbly.

Even with those last three limitations, that's a really, really good rep! I particularly like the skin on the Anti-hammer lid.

That has got to be one of the best reps I've ever seen. Seriously nice work, if there was one thing, I'd try to bring the rear wedge in a little bit to hide the kinda shaft thing.

Cool, I hope you used piglets for drive, to accurately simulate the speed of series 7 P.A as well.
