Nice rep, but I'd get two disks at different angles to mount 6 teeth on. Disk would be more realistic thickness wise too.

Very nice replica, Sonny. =) And you'd need three discs with 60 degree rotations between them to get six beaters on in that fashion. A hexplate would probably be simpler.

It's the strangest thing; when I try to put a hexplate on the motor, it won't let me put the disc on top of that.

You can do that with a Weapon Hexplate, but you can only get five things attached to it. If you do it the other way round, would that work?
