lol its just a common glitch in the graphics of Robot Arena 2... very common with circular shaped chassis

try applying the dark edge texture to it..

Actually, they're only of the same size visually. Grannies have a slightly larger mesh.

Tornados are slightly smaller. As well as the "gripping" mesh.
