I made 2 new disks, which are both 60cm but have an axle about the length of half an iron spike for each side. It works well for drums. I also made some more spikes.

I think this thing below is the most useful thing I've ever made actually. I made the height slider taller to be more accurate, and I also added some marks that indicate the minimum height requirements for certain components. Sadly, it only works at resolutions of 1024x768 or higher.
I'll probably release this tool soon, but first, what other component heights should I add? And should I make it compatible with smaller resolutions?

I should probably just make a new thread for all of the stuff going into the mod I'm making

im indifferent about the height markers although they seem useful i like the double sided ironspike for axe reasons and i think the disc with the long axle could be very useful good job

Try adding the vertical green snapper to the height marker (It's right in between the vertical RAD and the Z-Tek)

The height guide in my sig is based on a similar idea to your latter mod. I overcame the multiple resolution issue by creating a separate image that would get positioned and resized to match the slider. Starcore V4 was also suppose to include my list of component heights (according to my height guide) but it never got released and I misplaced my copy of it. I have my original list of all the stock component heights for each AP but I'd have to clean if up if I ever decided to release it again.

Aight so I made a new arena the combat zone red and added some other stuff.
It's called it the action box because I'm not very good at naming things
I'd say it's made well, but the actual design isn't all that great. It was more of just me experimenting. (Pro Tip: you should turn off auto indent in notepad++ when editing .py files if you don't want your game to crash)

Here's a download link if you want to try it out, give feedback, or just whatever

Yeah I moved them closer to the center so they wouldn't start over the spikes

I really like your arena. One problem I did notice though is that often the spikes won't fire.
Oh I'll be doing some banging.......
