Rhino 3D is only for CAD designs of bots for Robot RPG's and the like....

@ goose, no i dont have MSN, i have a AOL name, but dont currently have AIM installed, but can do it quick, my AIM is Deceptorbot, my YIM is Deceptor2

I have 3D Studio Max 4.2 and 6 but 6 is not currently installed, there is a problem with the licensing conflicting between them (4.2 is what i used for the CAD of slipped disc)

I love the way you make your CAD's from the inside out.
Shows how it works is cool

i just got a new idea...

darkrat made a replica pack right?

why do they have to be reps?... we can make our cads into an ai pack...

maybe a winter break project?

i think we should get advanced robot combat involved, they have many kick ass cads

That sounds like a awsome idea.  If that is made i will start playing RA2 again.  Here is my input on it.

You mentioned ARC, how abaout making a ARC Vengence AI pack.  Maybe take the bots from ARC vengence and make AI bots out of them.  It would be a lot of bots so I was thinking maybe just 1 or 2 from each team that wan't to be in the pack.

This sounds like a great idea.

That may be directed at me, but I am waiting to see what can be done as to converting Rhino to max. I have not been able to do it yet, but I have Rhino v2.0 and I think 3.0 will do it.

You can convert it to .3ds, which can be imported into Max. I don't think you can actually export to .max in Rhino.

Yo ACAMS, why don't you go throw the idea at the ARC guys. You're probably one of the most respected people in RA2.

Nice animation.  Oh and you might want to edit the name of this thread.  It isn't "an8mator", it is "anim8or".
