Because everyone on deviant art is a bunch of kiss-ups. Ever read the comment? The submission could be a repost, an MSPaint mess, or a crappy attempt. Either way, they have nothing but good things to say.

Lol of course I am attention whoring. Why would I post anything if I don't want people to see?

Problem is that I get an average of under 1 reply per image.

Some very nice submissions here in this thread - great work, all! However, I'd like to point out that all artwork is not simply putting pen or pencil or brush to paper, or using photo imaging software to create imaginative scenes ......
