A few MS Paint Quickies.
« on: August 21, 2010, 09:52:16 PM »
Yeah, I was kind abored, and felt like doing a few MS Paint Robots. I'm actually creating an MS Paint team, called 'Team Lightning'. you'll see what i'm on about when you see my bots:

Name: High Voltage
Weight: 99Kg
Top Speed: 20Mph
Weapons: CO2 powered High-PRessure Flipper and a Circular Saw blade
Strengths: Powerful Weaponry and Very Agile
Weakness': Weak Aluminium Armour and Self-Righting Problem (The Disc Must be stopped for it to self-right, otherwise it digs into the ground and prevent's the robot from self-righting.

Some of you might recognise that one from the Robotic Rampage Fantasy Battle topic...but here's a new one I just finished!

Name: Thunderbolt
Weight 95Kg
Top Speed: 10Mph
Weapons: Circular Saw blade (Similar to the one on High Voltage), and Hydraulic Pincers.
Strengths: Good Pushing Power, and Invertible (Similar to Tornado).
Weaknesses: Unprotected Fibreglass Armour at the Rear, and also quite Easily Flipped.

I'll be making more hopefully. ^^

Yeah, the isometric view's kinda skew-wiff, but it's quite hard to get it right first time around. Good job, though, they're actually very good for a first try. =]

Well, I promised you guys an Axe MS Robot, and here it is: Shockwave!

Name: ShockWave
Weight: 100Kg
Top Speed: 20Mph
Weapons: Pneumatic Axe and Large Rear Vertical Flywheel
Strengths: Phenomenal Weaponry, and Tough Plasma Nitrate Coated Titanium Sheck.
Weakness: Axe is known to be Inaccurate, and the Sheck isnt ACTUALLY Plasma Titanium, the Team Just said it to sound cool! It's actually Light, Weak Aluminium!
Notes: The Team's idea for Shockwave was heavy influneced on the Successful Robot 'Dominator 2', which is apparent in the similar weaponry and similar Bi-Wedge Body.

Lol had my Little 'Jonathan Pearce' Moment with the Plasma Nitrate Coated Titanium gag...but seriously speaking, what you guys thin k? I know I just ripped off Dominator 2, but hey, it was probably my...4th Fav Robot, only 4th after the robots you see below.

Good job mate. but as a fantasy combat guy myself id recommend dropping the speed down to 15mph cos at 20mph it might have control problems and be difficult to use and could end up in the pit. Just saying

Lol that's another problem it can have, but it's ridiculously manouverable, and of course it cant actually do that speed in the arena. It needs a bit of a run-up to get to 20. IT could probably do a Max of 15 or so in the arena.
