Thanks to our great members. We have some awesome entries for this BOTM (Brought to you by Asbestosstar)

2. (https://i.imgur.com/d7NG88r_d.jpg?maxwidth=640&shape=thumb&fidelity=high)

Everyone made a ballista. I was expecting more trebuchets.
-
Battering Pam and Dave Ballista tho. Whew.
-
Doesn't #2 break the rules by revealing the builder in the splash (even if it's a red herring)?
-
I mean, they all break the rules in some way. #1 is too big an image, and #2 and #3 don't have inside shots.
-
I find it both ironic and funny how all 3 splashes have a Ballista... might as well create a Gametechmods Archery contest XD

I dint care about that anymore. 90% of the time, you know who the builder is anyway.
-
#3 don't have inside shots.
Isn't in the ruleset this month. If it was then *someone* should print every rule like well-organized people do.
-
There's no need for inside shots when most of the entries are extender bots and stuff. It's really only a big deal for bits that have to follow a specific meta to be legal.
-
I don't know how I know, but judging from the angle, there's a burst piston inside #2.

YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT #2!

Thoughts and Opinions:
1. Hello again darkness my old friend, I mean DSC sorry. Jokes aside, both bots are pretty well thought out and look like good pieces of art, including having a working turret for the ballista and a working articulater for the battering ram. Looks like you got another BOTM victory in the bag.
2. Well, you tried. It's pretty much very plain and not particularity very interesting enough visually, despite what you tried to base the design upon.
3. Why have two siege machines when you have both of them plus a castle. Anyway, Both bots plus the castle bots are good attempts at making a siege machine. Though I do feel that there's some bits that are missing like adding a little more detail into the bot. However, I love the way how the splash was set up to look like a castle siege. Wait a minute, do I see no other than the good doctor himself. This has now overwhelmed me with joy.

#3 has built the superior siege weapon.
-
from an engineering perspective #3 wins
-
U left mine out

I never said lots of stuff was not allowed, so its perfectly fine, for all i care someone coulda posted an NSFW pic
But yeah, i do that most of the time, i belive that, or just leave rules out because i dont need them(like evento uno). Loopholeism.
-
I left yours out because it doesn't look like a bot OR a seige weapon or even Constantinople.
-
Where did I say it had to look like a seige weapon? Also, it's showing a seige like in Constantinople
-
Something is poorly organized after 7+ years, who could have guessed?

It has to look like a bot, cuz it's BOT of the month.
-
Well this time it was REALLLY close, but it looks like DSC won again.
1 was DSC
2 was BDBLUE
3 was DOODLE
-
Killing BOTM one month at a time.
I really liked the castle though.
