I got your PM about your entry, but no video.....
-
#1 is hilarious. Voted.
#2 ... Not as good as #4.
#3 I'd of preferred to just see it in action, nothing else.. Also, I thought it was an arena or something.
-
It's between 1 and 3, but I'm gonna have to say 1 just because of the sheer humour of it.
Nice av btw Red... XD
-
I want downloads for botcracker and Christmas town
-
#4
Awesome.
-
1- looks like it took a lot of work, but...there's something missing.
2- Ehhh
3- What does it do...?
4- That thing is a work of art. Truly beautiful....and no custom parts for the record either. While it may not be combat-effective, it's UBER AWESOME!
#4 is my vote. Nice work to whoever built it...as if I didn't know... =P

#4

#1: Cute and effective. Nice use of the HOJ2 wheels.
#2: Cool-Looking, but not a Christmassy as the other 3, which is what the BOTM is all about.
#3: Nice Video (Nightmare Before Christmas references) but I thought it was an Arena!
#4: I believe this was 123's entry, because he said somewhere he would do a reindeer, and Boy, Does he DELIVER! This guy gets my vote.
-
3- What does it do...?
there is plenty of descriptions on the splash ? annnnd a video too
1 - good work on the custom parts, came out nice in the end (I predict this is the work of one of those beetle brothers :P)
2 - there has been a bit of thought into this one... but I dont know.... I would like to know if the blue flames are an actual edit or just a cleaver HUE colour change ;)
3 - I like the nightmare before Christmas theme, all the extra effects, flamethrowers, snowfall, etc is really cool... but it looks a bit lacking something imo. still very cool
4 - I think its pretty easy to tell whose building style this is, I must say with the only custom part involement was an anti ballast that is a true work of art to go against these custom bots. the detail in this is really good, shame there wasn't anymore angles of it
-
#4. It's kinda obvious who built it, although i wish you could have skinned the components, to make them look like real reindeers.
-
#4... the first three aren't really Christmas-themed, yes it's 123's work, and it's robotic art.
And for once, there is more work on the bot than on the splash...
-
I disagree with the Christmas themes, I think everyone has done well here
I must also disagree with the fact more work was on the robot then the splash.. I think everyone has put in a huge effort towards entries this month,
I do however respect that despite all have a huge amount of work towards them all, #4 was focused all efforts in game, not so much out side the game in the mod scene
I think everyone should be commended and whoever wins will be a worthy winner
-
no 1
-
#1 was nice, I appreciate the hard work gone into making those components, but #4 gets my vote, just too epic. #4 would get over 9000 points from me if it just had skinned components.
I'd like download for #1. It looks intresting to use.
-
I disagree with the Christmas themes
Hmm... Yeah you're right, i just didn't saw the video and the bots in detail because i was in a hurry to see the posts.
I must also disagree with the fact more work was on the robot then the splash.. I think everyone has put in a huge effort towards entries this month,
What i meant is that #4 is a both simple and efficient splash... not eye candy *COUGH* and is even more awesome than i thought.
Oh and i will give credit to #2 for using the NAR AI reskin

What i meant is that #4 is a both simple and efficient splash... not eye candy *COUGH*
who could you possibly be talking about *looks to the left of this post* I cant think of anyone :P
-
Congrats to 123savethewhales with Christmas Reindeers
-
congrats to 123savethewales
fun little statistic's
this year every-time someone wins two in a row they will get beaten by someone who hasent won all year
Click won Feb & March 09 then lost to Naryar
I won October & November 09 then lost to 123 :P
also Naryar is no longer the only person to win BOTM this year and not be Click, Sage or Myself
and the only time Click, Sage or Myself have not won this year was in an anything goes BOTM
-
Thanks. I never know what to say in these situations. Hope to see more entries on the next DSL anything goes BOTM.
-
i vote for 1
imagine a fight between him and HOJ? (judgement version)
-
Well, Who built 1, 2 & 3?
-
number 3 would be me ;)
went from first to second then finished up in third :P
-
#1 - Clickbeetle
#2 - Russian Roulette
#3 - JoeBlo
-
'Gratz 123. And well done everyone else, all those bots were pretty awesome :D
-
123,GREAT bot(s) and don't take this badly, but I want to see them against Tornado Mer in DSL.
P.S I voted for you!
-
Apart from epic copypasta, i still don't get how he managed to BFE these antlers like that :O
I want to see them against Tornado Mer in DSL.
What... the HELL... is the point of this ???
-
well...
#1 would destroy it
#2 probably would also destroy it
#3 would destroy it
#4 would probably became a decapitated reindeer D:
-
'Gratz all you guys.
Big congrats to 123STW.
-
JB, I just meant the reindeers
-
Apart from epic copypasta, i still don't get how he managed to BFE these antlers like that :O
Well, I have the antler build on another file. So I
*important, do not take a snapshot before these steps*
1. Figure out how many component are in the original file (which I will call TN)
2. Figure out where the number starts on the antler (in this case 2)
3. copy/paste the antler code
4. Change the ID of parent component accordingly
5. Except for the 2 main connection point that goes on the hex plate (exporter helps here), all other can be found by (current number + TN - 2)
6. Be sure to change your component count after you are done.
Unless you make a computation mistake it shouldn't take more than 15-20 minutes.
