I could probably get the extender work in place for a decent hammer... If you're creative enough, you could potentially make any bot type.

My only problem is the stack. I tried for about an hour today to stack the control board in one black and I couldn't do it.

Try putting the control board down first.

won't you give us the chassis + black Bat + Control board. if you 've done it yet.
this will help a lot and maybe there should be more challengers.

i spend times trying to put them... and it is starting to bore me, i'm here for the fun, not to be on my nerves.  i  leave out unless you gives us a what i talked about .

I haven't tried doing it yet but I think something difficult is actually good for a bot building competition,

I tried it, well I can now stack black batts around 25% of the time, but the CB in there is a killer.

Here is what I have so far...

I created a max-size guinea pig chassis to test on and placed control boards through the chassis at different heights.  The control board set at 4 notches high would hit the sweet spot on a black battery in two different directions. (stacking the battery over the board that is)

I could not get the board to stack into a battery at four notches high though. Placing the control board in the perfect location on that tiny chassis became a pain. I tried for about 2 hours to hit the right spot and then stack a battery on it.  Going to keep practicing though...

On the bright side I will be the first to admit that if I can't stack a board in a black I am entering a bot with stacked pinks instead :P

There... I broke the mold... now you all can quit whining and build a bot with pinks.

I can't even stack a CB into one black in that damned chassis.

2 snappers were easy to stack, 2 blacks were pretty hard but that's jus the damn chassis !

question : if it takes you hours to stack a CB on the Black Bat : what have you learn after these hours ?

response : that you should have gain hours by increasing the size of your chassis by a few pixel.

and all the time you've lost playing with your black bat and CB have not been spent building a good bot and trying to use at it best the free space (left the bb and the CB).

i strongly militate for a bot sample with an already bb and CB.

i know a way : edit the .bot -notepad++-, increment chassis size percent, call RA2, put Bats and CB, exit RA2, edit the chassis, let it  back to its original size

is it really fair play ?

what I was getting at is that if people who haven't bothered to try stacking might be able to use this as a good exercise,

yes changing the chassis size would work, yes it would make things easier and yes I haven't popped a vein trying to stack it yet... but I see this as a challenge
