Well, sounds like you're going to have ONE entry .... I guess JD will win by default.

I'll try to enter an entry before the deadline.  I've had a neat idea for a DSL bot for quite a while now.

W/L (5-6)

NW: GTO (Lost in Wildcard Match), RAW 2: Nibbler + Death Defying Stunt (Lost in Round 1 of winner's and loser's brackets), NW2: Delta (Runner-up), CA: Hypno-Ant (Lost in Round 2), NW3: Blade Runner (Champion), IRL: Hyper Hazard (entered; not aiming to win this), WRL2: FTW (entered)

lol thought so :P

I dont know how well I will fair, I rushed my final version + splash in 1 day

I guess it will depend on how well people understand the splash, it does however discover a new RA2 Glitch :-D

I decided to go for something new rather then just making a splash for one of the many original robots I showcased over the months :P

4 days(?) left, and only 3 entries!

Sage, didn't you have a splash to submit?

Contest over! Sadly, the third stage (The tournament) can't be done, so on with the poll!

Waldo's? lol

Anyways, great contest. Congrats to Joe... now we should have our bots fight it out! :P

Per Naryar's comment on the voting page, I had no idea that my design had been done before.  I kinda presumed that it might have been attempted, but I didn't have anything to refer to or check.  The design is surprisingly effective and I would be willing to bet that a DSL master could make it work waaay better than I have (i.e. more powerful/faster)

I was really hoping that more people would enter the contest though. Thanks for coordinating it Sys32!

I heard tht quite a few people had some bots, so in due time I may have another one and THEN have a tournament. (Which, ironically, was the main goal. A tournament with Only new bot types.)

I've never seen a bot like yours before so it might be entirely original, but it's still a shell spinner and S32 stated "entirely new robot type"

The design is surprisingly effective and I would be willing to bet that a DSL master could make it work waaay better than I have (i.e. more powerful/faster)

A challenge appears ???

Sounds good - I'll try building a bot like that in the future.
