Looks interesting.  We'll see....
Input is appreciated. :)

Welcome back Mad. How was your 3 (?) month hiatus?

Now about that BOTM...

I have an idea but I'm not sure how to build it.

Welcome back, Mad. =D How's things going at your end?

I'm working on the splash at the moment. Unless I can find some way of refining it further.

Hmmm....

Dang!  Looks like I used up my unrealistic shell spinner already.  Gonna be tough to come up with something else for this...

Oh, and I'm pretty sure that every DSL BOTM ACAMS has done has not used the realistic rule; it's nothing new.  But remember that just because your bot doesn't have to be realistic doesn't mean it CAN'T be realistic.

pretty much you either do something like that ^^^

or build realistic

you dont get any bonus points for having "2 stacked ants" on your splash

You don't strictly get bonus marks for stuff like that. It's more things like a clean setup, good looks and efficient building that people look out for. That and memes, eh Click? =P

you missed the point I was making (and click made too)

if you build unrealistically you have to really do something with it like Clicks above shell spinner

you either go all out on un-realism or stay realistic to do well.. things like a realistic robot with stacked batteries isnt goign to make people go crazy over it..

Hi. I'm new to BOTM. I've built a bot that I want to submit. What is required to submit it?

Picture of the bot, normally. You can put the bot up on the BOTM Exchange afterwards, I believe, though I've not done that myself.
