Entries will be secret and you must use this uploader...

RULES:
 
#1 - Like last year, this will be any Christmas theme
#2 - ANY component allowed, even custom
#3 - ANY building allowed (AAM, BFE is allowed)
#4 - You may team up if you like
#5 - This year a small vid my be linked/uploaded with your entry (vid 14.0 MB or smaller)
#6 - Make a splash, zip it and upload it (Be sure to include your name so I will know who made it)
#7 - Entries can be no wider than 700px and no taller than 800px
#8 - Entries MUST be .jpg or .png
#9 - Entries need to be in by Friday 11/27/09 12:00 midnight Central time
 
If you make a vid, it will be embedded on the front page along with your splash, and will also be placed on robotcombatgames.com

Oh man... I don't think you can beat last year's bots. Frosty and the Tree were just the bestest.

i know that we are allowed to use custom components but i wasnt sure if we were are allowed to get others to help with the components as that would mean that they would have had a part in the robot.

I have been throwing loads of custom parts at it but I just cant make myself happy with it lol

after 4 hours work i have finished building, splash and video for my entry :-D video may seem strange at first but makes sense if you watch the whole thing :-D

Pff i wanted to make some super awesome BFE rolling ball of doom bot but i am lazy.

And i know that even if i build a killer with a decent splash Joe will win with a better splash :P

My splashes focus on the robot. Not on some 3D Graphic art.

I went for a bit of a different way of executing the splash this time around

RR its not that the splash doesnt focus on the robot (I dont want to win of splash alone) the splash is meant to "sell" the robot to everyone :-D

Lol funny how I am so bad at making splash even though I got a studio art degree myself (it's pretty obvious which is mine once you see the entry).

Oh well I guess it's fun building the bot for the time.

I don't think I will make the deadline on this particular one... Too much stuff going on for me lately.  I might cobble something together tonight in 5 mins with losing intentions :P
