This month will be DSL HW Robot Replica

RULES:
 

• May use any components in DSL2 and DSL3
• All Cheatbot2 components allowed.
• Must follow real life physics both visually and functionally.
• You may replicate any robot that exists in real life
• Splash must include the original bot being replicated.
• Make a splash and upload it using the uploader
• Entries can be no wider than 700px and no taller than 800px
• Entries can be any image type NO LARGER than 1.0 MB (1024KB or less)
• Entries need to be in by Friday 7/26/13 12:00 midnight Central time
• 123STW can't enter

Snake isn't as impossible as it once was, thanks to DSL 3.  If I'd had more time and wasn't deadset on another idea, I might have tried it.
It would probably shatter all rules of IRL building though; the body sections would look like they were connected to each other, but each one would actually be a sort of "island," connected only to the baseplate, the motor would be hovering outside the chassis  Also, the body sections would only roll, not go in every direction like the real one.   The weapons would work, though.  SO I guess my question is, would this sort of thing be called "IRL" in spite of the unorthodox/unrealistic building techniques because it is based on something that actually exists?
