• Custom parts ARE NOT allowed
• Realistic rule DOES NOT APPLY
• Show the weight in your splash
• Normal building with all glitches allowed (no AAM, BFE or HAX mode type stuff)
• Make a splash and upload it using the uploader
• You MUST include a shot of the insides
• Entries can be no wider than 700px and no taller than 800px
• Entries can be any image type NO LARGER than 1.0 MB (1024KB or less)
• Entries need to be in by Wednesday 3/28/12 12:00 midnight Central time

BOTM isn't going to run according to what you want all the time. Besides, with the low weight constraints of the Beetleweight class, a lot of the robots are going to be very similar. If you go for a higher weight class, such as Middleweight and Heavyweight, you can add a wider variety of components, and hence achieve a wider variety of robot designs could be submitted.

DSL MW, easy peasy. But to make something that stands out is a different matter. I may or may not be in this, depends if I can build something good enough.
