Title: What should I get first?

The head set is only good if everybody has one, I believe.

As for the machete, I don't know. Its not like you can carry it around or anything. Maybe its like a disco ball or a lava lamp- It looks awesome in the store, but once you buy it, its not so hot.

I've just always wanted one.

As for the size, 18" is the only one availible at the local Ace Hardware.
There are three different styles.

Headset would be for Gmod on Windows XP.

Good point. If you get bored, you'll start thinking of "creative" uses for your purchase. When that happens, it'll probably be better if you have the headset than the machete.

i dont think an airline would be too happy if they found it in your coat pocket when walking through the metal detector.

the headset is fine to take on an airplane.

I have had my machete for 25 - 30 years, but it is getting old and the handle has a corner missing, so I am thinking of getting a new one. It is military surplus from the late 70's and still in good shape except for the handle, and I have been thinking of making a new handle from aluminum stock.
