I've been seeing this symbol floating around on the internet, and have no idea what it stands for. When I google it, it just comes out as 2 question marks.

I'm curious because if you make a post containing that symbol on the Facepunch forums, you get banned for a week. (I like to read the event log, it's like a soap opera)

I believe its text that can't be displayed on your computer, like you don't have Chinese symbols on your PC or something.

In other words, it looks like a white box to me.

Oh yeah..... your right. It is the symbol your computer automatically puts in if it can not display a type of text, like Ianh05 said.

if you copy and paste it into google it changes your search to "??" :P

Yeah, that's why I couldn't do research to figure out what it was.

I had the same problem with firefox when I used it on linux.
wrong font or something
