I think china would have been better off if they didn't have to prepare for them... but besides that I think the opening cerimony (spelled wrong) was one of the best.

Did anyone else here see Phelps win the 7th gold medal, it was CRAZY.

Now he has 8 golds in these Olympics

even i know who is he(specially that i'm from europe)...besides with 8 olympic gold he is one who have won so many gold medals in these Olympics. China have won most medals( why not when in your country live 1 mlrd), for ex. my country have won only bronze medal(not much lol) but we expecting to get medal on basketball...

Actually, america is leading in the medal count.:biggrin:
China has the most golds:mad:, but America has the most silvers and bronzes.

I really enjoyed watching the USA mens basketball team beat Spain by 40ish points. Spain is the "world champion"

after diving is over china dosent really have any more events they are that good at. They basically sweeped diving and gymnastics. But they are not so great at track.

I need to give them props though, the opening ceremony was sick!

since it was not explained: Phelps is the best swimmer in history. He holds the world record in every swimming event he swims in, he also won 8 gold medals in one Olympics and has a total of 14 gold. Many concider him one of the best athletes of all time. He is ugly, though.

Actually I heard that the fireworks were digitally enhanced to look better on tv and the little asian girl that was singing was lip singing a song that another girl sang. Apparently she was too ugly to be seen on tv.

Yah, I was pissssssssssssssssssssssssssssed when I found out that they had faked the opening ceremony and had the best young singer in China singing while the cutest young girl in China lip-synced. The problem with the Chinese isn't that they are forging everything, but that they can't keep their mouths shut about it.

The Chinese gymnastic team is going to have its medals for team gymnastics (They won Gold) taken away because a newspaper article from about 9 months earlies mentioned one of the girls as being 13, and really, DO THEY LOOK 16!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
