That was useful.. If you can't read, just stand aside, this topic is for the literate.

The Last Question is a science fiction short story written by Isaac Asimov in 1956.

I thought it was relatively apparent that this was intended as sharing a philosophical short story. I find that it initiates deep thought and ponderings within myself.

All you did was call it random sh**. How is that humorous?

I've been through 9 weeks of anger management. Which was a joke but all the same, it would take a lot more than a young hooligan on an internet message board to create real feelings of rage in me.

Also, How can something be considered random in the chatterbox? Unexpected, maybe.. but is anything considered to be "random" really more than just something you were presently unprepared for? And if then that is true, does the fault not fall upon you for not being sufficiently ready for anything and able to flow with the very nature of the internet, which is an endless mass of information that does not dictate relevance but supplies it regardless. Randomness keeps the world interesting and the word random should not be used so derogatorily.

ok.

I require more than one word in a post in my topics. Unless of course it is an irrelevantly funny word. However, merely responding with "ok." is unacceptable and I will now shun you from this small area of the board which is mine. Like really, that is worse than people who reply with "K" to a text message. Communicating having an understanding is one thing but there are many ways in which to do so such as "yes master, I understand that I will never have a reading comprehension level anywhere near yours so now I will simply nod and smile and act as if I understand."
