Grosjean is the new Kobayashi.Yeah, but his name doesn't rhyme with "crashy".
So, what about all these rumour of Lewis going to Mercedes? The source of those rumours seem to be Eddie Jordan, so, yeah.
And you can't shout BANZAI when Grosjean attempts a crazy pass on somebody.Grosjean is the new Kobayashi.Yeah, but his name doesn't rhyme with "crashy".
On the other hand, must we not forget Pastor Maldonado?Of course not. Maldonado's been involved with a lot of incidents, but they weren't the same seriousness as the one Grosjean caused.
Hamilton would be making a huge mistake going to Mercedes, what is probably only for personal gain. But then again, it doesn't affect me because my all-time favourite driver is Jenson Button :3Button and Webber are cool dudes, and they're probably my favorite drivers (though Perez and Senna are close).
On the other hand, must we not forget Pastor Maldonado? He does some crazy sh**.
Räikkönen is now 3rd in championship. Only 1 point away from Hamilton. ;)It was a good race for him but it doesn't even compare to Perez this race, that was absolutely amazing.
Button and Webber are cool dudes, and they're probably my favorite drivers (though Perez and Senna are close). This I am surprised by.
I'm still hoping the Toro Rosso guys get some advancement seeing as they both did some great drives recently.
I wish Mclaren would dump the ungrateful Hamilton, and try to snatch Perez from under Ferrari's nose, what a coup that would be.Senna is very good at keeping people behind him, he's got great control across the track.Button and Webber are cool dudes, and they're probably my favorite drivers (though Perez and Senna are close). This I am surprised by.

I actually liked Senna, but I get the feeling he's been holding back this year, probably trying too hard to be unlike his teammate.I wish Mclaren would dump the ungrateful Hamilton, and try to snatch Perez from under Ferrari's nose, what a coup that would be.Senna is very good at keeping people behind him, he's got great control across the track.Button and Webber are cool dudes, and they're probably my favorite drivers (though Perez and Senna are close). This I am surprised by.

But yeah his uncle is better but then again he's better than most people.
Hahah Pastor is hilariously reckless.I actually liked Senna, but I get the feeling he's been holding back this year, probably trying too hard to be unlike his teammate.I wish Mclaren would dump the ungrateful Hamilton, and try to snatch Perez from under Ferrari's nose, what a coup that would be.Senna is very good at keeping people behind him, he's got great control across the track.Button and Webber are cool dudes, and they're probably my favorite drivers (though Perez and Senna are close). This I am surprised by.

I read somewhere that he shouldn't really be racing in Formula One at all. During a Monaco race in the Formula Renault series, Maldonado ignored yellow flags, and nearly killed a marshall as a result. The owners of the Monaco circuit responded by banning Maldonado from racing there for life, which meant no F1 team could recruit him as a driver if he couldn't race at one of the iconic circuits on the calendar. However, his father offered to pay for the marshall's hospital fees and such, provided the lifetime ban was lifted.
I hope someone new wins the Championship this year.inb4 Di Resta owns everybody.
I sense some bias towards the Scotman there xDI wonder why...
I hope someone new wins the Championship this year.I wouldn't mind another Button or Kimi championship but I'm mostly banking on someone like Perez really. Webber wouldn't be bad either since Webber is cool.
Am I the only one who pre-ordered F1 2012.Yep, they need to add more to the gameplay, some extra game modes to make the series less one dimensional.
Congrats to Raikkonen. Very, very consistent drive, well deserved victory.Vettel didn't do half bad either. Pastor and Grojean were also good at various points.
Alonso has a really hard few races ahead of him now - 10 points in two races is certainly possible but after that 24th to 3rd performance, I expect Vettel to win the championship again.I don't really mind that considering Vettel is a good driver even if he's boring if he's on pole position. Also he isn't a grumpy ass unlike Alonso.
:vista:
I never quite understand why you guys dislike Vettel. When he's not starting from the front he's good, and he's amusing during interviews (like with DC today).
**** no.I never quite understand why you guys dislike Vettel. When he's not starting from the front he's good, and he's amusing during interviews (like with DC today).
When he's not starting from the front he's good, but that doesn't happen. Over the last three seasons we've just seen him pull away from the rest of the pack without a word from him ever again. He's talented but his car is a major part of why he's dominating, and he honestly makes it boring.
Oh, and Ferrari is cooler.
**** no.
Oh, and 'gratz to Kimi! It's great that lotus have finally got a win.
I would rather Vettel win the next 3 championships than Alonso win this one.**** no.

Hey, would you rather have a horrible blue-ish mess that is based off a drinks company...
or a shiny red sexy beast?
Lotus is my favourite team but I have to cast them aside a bit for the championship because I don't want another Vettel dominancy.
I like McLaren and Mercedes too, and I agree that the Red Bull looks better, it looks much more shiny and the blue looks sleeker.I would rather Vettel win the next 3 championships than Alonso win this one.**** no.

And the Red Bull looks nicer than the Ferrari, IMO. The Lotus is the best looking car on the grid, though.
Webber is talented too but he generally performs fairly inconsistently, while Vettel does much better with the same car. Sure, he's boring, but that's not really what he's there for. Red Bull has him so they can win, and that they can.I never quite understand why you guys dislike Vettel. I did pick up something on the BBC coverage that said Vettel was headed to Ferrari in 2014 alongside Alonsovettel pls
So, hows about this new American F1 course? It's not very grippy. Doesn't look too bad though and it has some nice turns.
I don't watch F1 all that much, but I know who drives and such :P

I think the lack of grip is due to it being a freshly built course. It needs a couple years or so to rubber in properly, I reckon. Some turns are pretty good, but the wider corner entries look a bit daft to me.
Also, New record: Kimi overcome more than 100% of the full season distance.
Also, there's been rumors that Kovalainen might get Grosjean's place, because Grosjean wrecked his car 7 times in this year. Also Bottas will be driving in Williams on next year... If Räikkönen & Kovalainen would drive in Lotus, and Bottas in Williams, IT WOULD BE THE MOST EPIC MOMENT IN FINNISH F1 HISTORY! :party
I am becoming more and more an F1 fan. I gotta say, the drivers in that series are awesome. I seriously hope they all stick around and not move to NASCAR. As much as I love NASCAR as well, I hope both series' grow and flourish. Open wheel really needs a strong following over here in the States. Glad the Texas race went well!As a HUGE WRC Fan, I've been into F1 too, Since Räikkönen had awesome season. After all, He is my favourite Motorsport driver of all time. :gawe:

Open wheel does have a big following in the US. Sprint cars and modifieds are considered open wheel. F1 does sound quite interesting though. It's a shame I can never manage to catch it on Speed Channel.

Alonso and Vettel should've done the reasonable thing instead of continuing - they should've spun out at great speed and horribly injured himself.
