That is it, i've had enough.
Why ? Sparkey98 !
Not only his helpful contributions to RA2 or this forum are very few, but he keeps making himself look like some idiot and barely improved.
Took him MONTHS and dozens of bots (most of them being fail) to actually listen to advice in his showcase, posting dozens of fail bots (and better, entering them into tournaments), and while he seems to have caught the basis of decent bot building still is building UNDERWEIGHT, because he probably listens to 10% of the total of advice we gave to him.
Not only that, but his actual attempts to contribute nearly all failed, including over 9000 "FANTASY ROBOT BATTLES" threads that all were abandoned by Sparkles, resulting in him getting flamed because he seemed not to be able to make a sustained project - excepted maybe his AI pack that was mostly made of fail bots (yet again, only building fail bots because he was NOT LISTENING TO ADVICE) in a probable attempt to get some respect, but did not get any.
Another thing - he says he has the spelling skills of a 15 year old, nevermind most of his posts having a few spelling mistakes, and same for the COMMUNICATION SKILLS.
Obviously he does not seem to notice than saying "why can't we just be friends" and "yes i do troll" are two completely opposite aims. Worse, these days he has been internet tough guy'ing, nevermind him being only 12 years old, and yet again making an idiot out of himself.
Another thing is him boasting because he has been lurking, him knowing all the names of the stock bots (like it's an achievement), and knowing JimXorb (but we have no idea of JimXorb's opinion on Sparkey). Most of us have been lurking, and visibly seeing that he needed like 4 times the amount of advice needed to make an average newbie a decent builder, i doubt he really put all the information he got from all that lurking to good use.
Also he does seem to like being a n00b on purpose, even creating some fail double accounts that obviously only him finds funny, and pissing even more the mods even if they clearly warned him a few times (notably by limiting him).
The best probably is him insulting Madiaba. Nevermind him being like nothing to the RA2 community compared to Mad, Mad being most likely the most intelligent guy and best manipulator diplomat of these forums, and not to mention the difference between him and Mad in contributions to the game. This also means that, despite him claiming "i have the communication skills of a 15 year old", he seems to be unable to accept and try to understand a simple opinion if said opinion doesn't suits him. Rather than this, he either tries to argue and mostly spews falsities (and this is why he gets flamed when arguing), or something particularly mature, making rageposts and insulting people when he can't come up with something better.
Finally, Sparkey does sometimes gets a little respect from some members but in the end, always seem to lose it by posting stupid things such as the latter insult towards Madiaba.
That is all. Now call me a jerk or tell me to STFU, that will only prove my former points. (it won't help in the first case and i probably am, and i won't STFU in the second, plus that would be a similar case as you treated Madiaba lately - you insulting a respected member of the community that did a lot more than you did to help)
Now two thing, Sparkles:
- Either you start to behave correctly, succeed to make useful contributions to the community, and eventually all the community (including me) will recognize you as a helpful member (and honestly i believe you can actually improve and do all of this, if you just try hard enough). Hell, some people will even start to respect you for trying to improve.
-Either you continue to post like LRA2 did, go Angry German Kid every time you are displeased and troll the forums, and eventually get banned. Or if you are just trolling us on purpose and only for lulz, just GTFO. We don't need people like this here.

I agree completely. Sparkey may supposedly have the language skills of a 15 year old (he sure as hell does not know how to use them though) but he has the goddamn maturity of a four year old. A temp ban fixed Hydro (I think...) and a good ban basically semi-fixed LRA2, as he is much less n00by now. I would be fine if Sparkey became just like Hydro. If he was like that, he would have my respect. Otherwise, his dense obliviousness that causes him to use this as a sandbox is enough. Every little ADHD little thing he wants to do, he starts a thread for, and never finishes them.
P.S. If anyone ever came out and said "sorry guys it was me lol", they should be perma-banned. I do NOT get why ACAMS has not banned this kid yet. Everyone deserves a second chance, but we have put up with enough from Sparkles. If he came back as "Mudslide" or whatever after the banning and decided to act respectable, It would be fine. But for now, he can go AWAY. I do not know how anyone could go through all of this besides doing it for the lulz. Only way I can think of.

I went to Sylven Leaning Centers to help me with my math a while ago and they said I have the language arts skills of a 15, NOT including spelling, that stuff is never really counted in my grade. I have papers to prove it, i wil leven type out a 2 page long story to prove it.

Grades don't prove anything. I got a C in a US History course because I refused to regurgitate the professor's opinion that Thomas Jefferson was no good. If you really want to prove yourself, write a two page, double-spaced essay on... oh, I don't know. How about on whether or not soda should be sold at schools? Send it to me when you're done and I'll go over it, posting my corrections here in the public square.

That's true. Failed GCSE Citizenship (D) in the UK. It's basically just reading about and regurgitating public matters (Pretty much anything politically charged along with a few misfits, as if the 15~16 year old chavs care about any of it) and developing multicultural tolerance (Through doing nothing on culture and religion at all)
Any other goals I don't remember. The most I remember is some textbook page on pressure groups, something about how TV regions are divided, a pie chart on which UK newspaper was the most popular in 2003, and some exam question about some boys who climbed over a chain fence and onto a railway track. (Idiots) ... The exam question in particular was also on the MOCK papers we were given out, so it's clear they don't have many feasible questions to ask.

Also there's the fact that you can say whatever you want, and no one has any way to refute your claim. In high school, I took AP classes in every subject and got straight A's. After I graduated Valedictorian, I got a full scholarship to Harvard on account of my IQ of 200. My GPA is a solid 4.0.

I'd say having an IQ of 200 is pretty impressive. I think mines is somewhere around 170, I'm not too sure.
But on Sparkey, if he did maybe take some of the advice he has been given, then perhaps he might get some of the respect he's been looking for. I mean, my bots were rubbish before I turned up here.
Although, I think one thing about the internet is you don't get the tone of voice through with just text. That leads to a lot of misunderstandings, I've found. Sparkey, if you're getting mad about stuff, take some time to read the whole post, and don't rush into it. You'll get less misunderstandings that way, and a lot less flaming. =)

Most of us have been really helpful to him, and frankly he refuses to take our advice! Sparkey get this message into your head: You could be a respected member of the community if you just take our advice and stop trying to do more than you're capable of. DON'T ignore the help we give you.
And don't do a tourney until you can AI and make brackets!

So, lets discuss the mater of pop in schools.
First, I think it depends on the mater/situation. In my personal opinion, for a kid to purchase pop at school, he needs a parent/gaurdian note so that they can get a special "pop card" with money on it, wich is put into the machine to get pop, rather than just buying it.
So a kid who is not supposed to drink it can't. There can be many, many other problems with it. Due to the drug issue in some ghettos, it would be very possible for kids to make meth labs, pot brews, or pot water in the pop bottles. Another problem, kids are always, mostley in my school, throwning the bottles around, and poring water and pop on kids heads, wich makes it an isue that you can get pop from vending machines beacuse it is a chance to get in trouble for 1.94 everywere in the building. Also, if pop can be puchased from the lunch kitchen, then I think that entirly needs to be rulled out do to americas obeseity problem.
At my school, it is almost IMPOSIBLE to eat healthy for lunch, if you want any nutritional value, you have to get a monstrocity of a salad to go along with it, water to drink, and practially no salad dressing. Kids don't need pop, and there is crap going around like "tons of carbs make you think harder and work better" wich is a complete lye, aples, bannana, ect. by fare help alot better witch leaning and working. Pop, is not a school thing, it makes kids, such as myself, hard to control and impulsev, wich is a major no for school. Back on the subject of the Obesity problem, it agrevates me that they are trying to stop obesity, yet do nothing to
put more nutritionon in school meals and put vending machines in every hall.

I covered the same topic in high school (took the opposite side though), so I hope you'll listen to wat I have to say, even though it's negative stuff.
Two of your arguments mention the negatives of the bottles themselves, but even if your school sold only water, kids could still throw bottles around or turn them into "meth labs"
You flip-flopped, your first paragraph suggests a compromise, but everything after that suggests "ban soda pop with extreme prejudice."
Also, people have been demonizing "carbo-loading" since befoe you were born; you should really check your sources, because it's been a long, long time since "tons of carbs make you think harder and work better" was medically endorsed.

Wow, guys. Just wow. You've all allowed a 12 year old kid that you do not know on an internet forum to irritate you to the point where you're all calling for his head. Think about that for a second. It's pathetic. You don't know who he is, where he lives or what he's like IRL, and yet you let him get under your skin and then b!tch and whine about it like he kicked your dog. To me, this makes no sense. Your only channel of interaction with him ever is an INTERNET FORUM. You can just ignore him for the most part. I've been in his showcase mabye once since it reached the 9th page, and personally, I am not bothered by his presence on the forum at all. In my opinion he's waaaaaaay less of a troll than you guys make him out to be. Every damn time he makes a typo now, it seems like at least three people have to point it out to him, correct him, and then call him an idiot. AND YOU WONDER WHY HE RETALIATES AND "FLIES OFF THE HANDLE."
Don't get me wrong, Sparkey's still immature and has basically added nothing to the community at all, but this in itself is absolutely no reason to perma-ban him. All of the people that constantly nag and prod him are just as much to blame as he is for any grief that is caused.
And look, Naryar, I really don't want to get into a flame war with you over something as dumb as this, but take a look in the mirror once in a while. You have more inflammatory and insulting posts than Sparkey as total posts, and quite frankly, the condescending and elitist tone of many of your posts is about as aggrevating as anything on the forum. Are you a great builder? Yes. You're better than me. Do you contribute to the community? Yes, your Nar AI packs are great and I really respect the time and effort you've put into these services. But to me it seems that you think of yourself above everybody as a result, and this is one thing above all else that I can't stand. You're a better builder than most of us and an invaluable member of the community, but you're not better than anyone here. Not even Sparkey.
I hope that you guys eventually see that whenever this happens, it's a pointless waste of time and energy. I've just burned about 15 minutes of my life that I'll never get back fighting a battle that I know that I'm going to lose, but you guys have just wasted as much of your time creating and discussing this topic. This is a pointless exercise arguing over something that is a non-issue. I'll leave you guys a cartoon that you've all seen before, but I guess no one's ever taken seriously:

Neptus DSL drum was, yeah, ummm...I know, even the name sucks. It was a fluke. But it was my first DSL tourny, ya know, I don't know why he was sent in, I can do alot better, but there is no reason to flame me. Yeah, I'm not amazingley good at stock eather, but I'm better at DSL and even if the bot I was fighting SuCkEd BaLlS does'nt meant you should still flame me. I'm not trying to expect things from you, but a "congratulations on your first DSL tourny win!" would have been nice, but no, just flaming. If I never even acted so imature, you would've congratulated me, but since not, you have to be TEH L337 HAX0R you need to show off.

ROBO is right. Nary is a lot like sparkey in the arrogance that they have or had. Naryar has earned it though. He is this forums #1 DSL Expert. He knows it inside and out. He has explored every nook and cranny. If we drove him away, we would no longer have the wealth of knowledge that is clogging up his C-W (Cheese-Wine) area in his brain (its a French thing). I think that because of this we all put up with more from him subconciously.
@Sparktastic: I have decided that starting now, you have a clean slate with me. I see a lot of similarities between you and me. In looking back at my n00b days posts, I was such a n00b and did not even realize it. It also took me forever to grasp some of the simplest concepts of RA2. You can get it though, and maybe someday we will see "Sparkey98" as the winner of a tournament.
I have only 1 piece of advice: Listen to advice. We have been here long enough to know what we are talking about, and trust us we do. Not just on bots either. Our advice is more of a mishmash of things to help you overall with everything on GTM. I highly recommend it. But if you call right now, we will also throw in our all new... XD

Nar, I appreciate and can relate with your 'rantz' about Sparks, but there's no need to defend me ....
Let me share a bit of very liberating insight:
Words are just a MEANS to hopefully communicate information about reality. Words are symbolic noises or letters that together merely 'represent' certain parts of reality. The words are NOT that part of reality (thing/person) but only a right (or wrong) representation of he/she/it/you.
It's like drawing a picture to represent something real, for communicating an idea. The picture is not the actual thing, just a symbol of it (accurate or not accurate). Words are only a mere 'representation'...
Words are really only a means of communicating, and when written, they only affect the ink on a paper, or when spoken, only vibrate the air .
I.e.: I can say "The sky is blue!", but just because I said it (1) doesn't mean my words are accurate; nor (2) do my words make the sky blue. The sky is what it is, whether or not I speak this or that,.... or at all, it doesn't change or affect reality; but only might 'describe' it. Another example: Next time you're at an intersection, just declare "There is no car coming!"... and then brainlessly pull out. Why don't we do this? Because words do not 'create' reality, but can only 'describe' it. So when people say things to you all they're doing is vibrating the air, nothing more; and the words in and of themselves should have no effect on you.
Now if the words communicated DO describe reality, then you should, and need, to respond to the real problem that needs to be dealt with. But here still, you're not responding to the words, but to the part of reality you were just made aware of. And if the words do not describe reality, then there is nothing to respond to.... Except maybe to help that person who is (knowingly or unknowingly) not it touch.
So when communicating, listen objectively to discern if what they're saying is accurate. If so then thank them, and respond to the actual issue. Else just go on,... for 'nothing' happened.
Because we're so impulsive and don't consistently think things through clearly, we brainlessly accept or reject others words, and end up being controlled by reacting to myth thrown out by others specifically designed to get me to 'react' to their words, instead of reality. This is called interrelational 'baggage'. Thus they 'play' with me,.. and that is their goal,... but my fault that they found a foot-hold in my own lack of mental maturity.
Flame wars would not work without this brainless reacting. I watch some here cast out little 'bait-words', just like a fishing line, to see who they can reel in and play with... as though people are 'things' to play with.
I've seen this particular 'brainless reaction to words' in myself, and so I share with those interested here to check for this, and to encourage and facilitate people to think and respond to reality using their own faculties rightly/soberly, instead only reacting at the level or mark of a beast.
Sorry for any type-O's.. This is a short, user-friendly synopsis of a lecture I give on Social Psychology, that anyone can understand if they're willing to...

Sparkey's paradigm/view of self is built and therefore dependent upon the 'words' of others. I call it ASD (Attention Seeking Disorder). You can see how like an alcoholic, he constantly 'lusts' for words of affirmation (compliments). That's because like a drink/drug, the words are only a 'buzz' for him to synthetically 'feel' good for a moment, while reality is unchanged. Thus he must return for more (addiction). And so it is with any way of playing with reality (myth).
Therefore, like a drunk using a bottle, when someone responds by telling him what he wants to hear, Sparkey will maintain his 'useful' relationship with that person (his bottle). "Little brown jug, how I love thee." But when the same person does NOT say what he wants to hear, then like a drunk would an empty bottle, he throws it away (maybe even angry at it), and then looks for another to replace it. And so it is with any of us.
An important addition: It should also be noted that this 'pretend world'/myth, that he is so addictively enslaved to, also gives others a 'foot-hold' to play with him by just telling him certain supportive or non-supportive words. Anyone for fishing? Having shared a bit, I hope now there's nothing (ignorant) out there to catch...

Rolo, Sparkey's had several chances extended to him, and at times not followed through as he said, like controlling his anger,.. though I think he's made some improvement.
As far as Naryar, Sparkey seems to bother certain members more than others, and it appears that Naryar is one of them. He's has a right to express his opinion, as Sparkey did about me, or as you just did about Naryar...
