Well if this is a constant thing, you are most likely suffering from Schizophrenia, which is a mental disorder. I know because I have it, and a few of my IRL friends have it as well. If it's happening constantly and lasts hours, you really should consult a doctor or a psychologist.

Ginseng doesn't really do much. If enough is taken, it can elevate blood pressure and increase the heart beat. The amount found in a soda is so negligible, however, that it likely isn't affecting you at all. While I'm certainly not a medical professional, I'd wager to say that your issues are most likely a result of lack of sleep. If the soda is high in caffeine, you may also be dehydrated.
