How come asking questions make you seem more like a n00b? I have a lot of questions to ask (RA2 and other things), but I'm afraid to, because others will think less of me.
-
Don't be afraid to ask, sometimes it may not be as bad as you think
-
I were, am, and always will be encouraging asking questions, being curious and skeptic. The ability to learn and the desire to do so are true virtues worth spreading.
However, I grow tired of answering the same questions over and over, especially those that can be answered by googling or lurking around the forum. That's why I sometimes post a letmegooglethatforyou.com link.
-
I lose no respect for anyone from questions that are relatively valid (I lose respect if its something we told you OVER 9000 times).
Probably because I am the person who asks a question and then everyone looks at me and asks why I didn't know the answer already XD
-
Sometimes I think the answer is some where obvious so I don't ask it because I don't like feeling like an beep you know
-
If it bothers you that much, you could try prefacing your question with "I've read so-and-so's tutorial and I still don't get it." That shows you put some effort into trying to solve the problem yourself.
-
But what if I missed the tutorial. I do that all the time especially with dictionary's I go over it 5 times and still miss it.

Do a search. If you can't find it, ask.
