Say a proverb (doesn't matter what country it's from) that you like. My favourite is one which is in my boarding house:
"There was an owl which lived in an oak;
The more he heard the less he spoke,
The less he spoke the more he heard:
Oh, if only we can be like that wise old bird."
-
Heres one that I've heard
He who goes to bed with itchy butt, wakes up with stinky finger
-
Si guarda al fine ?
-
Actions speak louder than words.
The pen is mightier than the sword.
Think about that. =P

"Shield-eaters and World Leaders have many Likes Alike"
An old Hylian Proverb on Like-Likes (The Shield-eating monsters).
-
The pen is mightier than the sword.
Whoever said that the pen is mightier than the sword obviously never encountered automatic weapons.

No, it specifically says "sword". It doesn't say "The pen is mightier than the heavy-duty assault rifle".
-
No, but by sword it meant violence.
You wouldn't say:
The pen is mightier than violence, would you?
-
No, I wouldn't, because the proverb says "The pen is mightier than the sword". You don't seem to be getting this. =P

Katharine Hepburn said that in the John Wayne movie "Rooster Cogburn" made in 1975
Actions speak louder than words. (He found that out talking sh** to somebody that didn't want to listen)
The pen is mightier than the sword. (Never been in a sword fight using a pen)
Think about that. =P
