Title: New Years Resolutions
Post by: Scorpion on December 31, 2010, 03:01:30 PM
Well, has anybody got any?

The main one for me atm is probably to seize the day, and not to be stopped from achieving what I want by others and/or beaurocracy.

Oh, probably to be less of a slob.

(I have been told by my dad's GF literally to straighten up or GTFO. And yes, she can throw me out. She owns the house.)

Seems like a good idea for me as well, if only I had more willpower...

Natural willpowers not the most important thing, it's the motivation and the want for the end goal IMO.
I've just prioritised a bit more and relaised I shoudln't be held back by other things I want less.

@Scorp
The reason why I think they're stupid is because it'something that I have to keep up with for the rest of the year. Which I already have enough crap in my life. But if I did have one, it would be too try to eat more because I'm really skinny. And my doctor says I should.

I agree, I don't like vodka as well.

Most high degree alcohols are bad, but become much more tolerable once you mix with non alcoholic drinks. However, it still is a bad habit to take.

Good wine is probably the best alcohol, in taste, you can get. Though some beer and cider are really good as well.

That's why you have things like Bacardi Breezer and WKD to start out with. Or as my sister calls them "poof juice". She's 15, she drinks, and she is such a ned. It's hard to believe that we came out of the same person.

I tried some of my dad's vodka because I asked what it was. He wouldn't tell until after I drank it. Vodka burns your tongue. Or, for me it does. My dad drinks a steady two bottles of Jack Daniels a week now.

Plus you get a hell of an intellectual downgrade when getting intoxicated. It is therefore a very bad thing.

There's only one problem... I don't drink

I decided over a year ago that the only reason I still hung around here was for the community. I don't build anymore, not that I was ever anything better than average. I ran out of ideas a long time ago, and I sure as hell am not capable of catching back up with modern building.

For some reason I have a hard time leaving places like this that meant so much to me behind. Doing it with my own forum hurt me enough, and it would hurt me a hell of a lot more than that to come back here someday and find out that this place went downhill.

Perhaps builder was the wrong word. I more meant it as a general term that describes you people on these forums. I guess supreme forum members would be more appropriated.

For building bots...... I kind of lost interest right now. Every time I do make a successful bot and want to show it there's always 10-50 things "wrong" with it. All this "realistic" and "right way" stuff takes the fun out of it for me. Anyway back on topic
