My self project
« on: September 04, 2012, 02:57:51 PM »
This is to show my own perspective of society, mainly at other kids and although some of you won't care its just I think this will be a good place to show it.

Introduction: This will be a self-project I will be doing for myself and to show others.
It’s about how I see the world and other kids around me as they start the coming of age rules in which they try to stuff like smoking and drinking because they its like, change in personality and how there are fewer kids ending up not doing this coming from my own belief’s.
However this affects me because one moment I see that kids should have complete freedom and do what they like but the next you want to throw them into a cell and throw away the key. Its showing that kids are acting older than they should be. Going back to being in the middle between kids having freedom or chained and supervised I am in always situations in which as much as you want to agree with a kid for doing something that can be bad you always feel like your being forced to agree with adults.
Put this into a school situation right. Your friend was being bad and teacher asks you and the rest of your class was he being bad.
Key: A (Boy who was being bad and is your best friend)
B, C, D, E , F ,G ,H (Other people in your class)
I (You)
Teacher: “Class do we agree that A was being rude for touching people on the head continually”
B to H individually says Yes
Then the Teacher turns to you
Teacher: “I, since you’re A’s best friend how do you feel?”
You don’t know what to do, you could either say I don’t care and your friend is alright with you or you could say Yes and risk your friendship with him but most of the time you feel like your forced to say Yes.

I've moved to other forums. Under a different name. This is where it all began.

i hate the idea of structure for kids completely. i've seen kids burnt out on structure when they were in like kindergarten with me, now they're either in jail or just don't care because their parents gave them too many damn rules. honestly i think the best way to raise a kid is to leave them alone and let them be a kid. hell, that's what my parents did, and look who i turned out. (ok that's probably not the best analogy in the world but you get my point)

Setting in place social expectations early is exactly why nothing improves, because people expect the same traditions to keep on going, so any actual advancement is like expected to meet traditional values. Does nothing good for improvement especially in times when rights are such an issue.
