My friends have left me, I get teased, bullied, taunted 24/7. By the looks of things, you guys are my only help. My family has basically abandoned me as well. I really wish that I could say things are well, but they are not.
-
Aw, sounds like it is bad...
-
Either ignore them, or kick their asses. It's your choice really.
-
The whole of my year, Nary.
That will be a pretty biased fight.
-
Not if you has a fire!

I... dont know what to make of this. Ive been in this position before. It was rather difficult. Just trust in yourself. If your friends have left/abandoned etc etc. Then they are not your real friends. those who stick by you are
-
do you mind me asking.. why would everyone leave you ?
was it something you said/ did ?
it is always possible to set things right with anyone.. I know first hand ;)
-
By my family basically abandoning me, I mean that my Dad is always away, my sister doesn't give a sh**, and my Mum just doesn't have a clue on what I'm talking about.
I've told her that I'd like to change school, and I hope that will happen. I have reported the bullying (3 times), but my housemaster says he'll sort it out and yet he didn't do anything at all - my school just doesn't care about bullying: they let one guy stay out in the freezing cold in his underwear for 5 hours because his "friends" tied him up for his 18th birthday.
Long story made short, and pointed out:
1. Me and a girl get along well.
2. I ask girl if she wants to come to Subway with me. She says yes.
3. Another guy comes up to me later and asks if I want to come to Subway with him. I say no as I'm going with someone.
4. Guy misenterprets this, thinking that I'm going on a date with girl, when we're meant to be going as friends.
5. Guy starts telling everyone, causing a mass chain reaction.
6. Girl finds out. I text her explaining what happened.
7. Girl believes me, but the guy finds out about the text, and tells girl bull crap lies.
8. Girl believes him.
9. Massive chain argument texts between me and girl.
10. Girl gives phone to player boy.
11. Player boy shows everyone in my year the texts.
12. Cue all the taunts and jeers.
-
That guy sounds like a d**che.
My advice is ...............
Publicly embarrass him (You have to REALLY embarrass him) then people will tease/taunt him and not you (Some people might but most won't)
OR
You could threaten to publicly embarrass him. If he doesn't think you will, well then do it.
-
Sounds like ou've got a fairly s*** school.
To start with, this guy seems to be the cause of most of your troubles, I wouldn't let him get away with something like that.
Even if it resorts to violence with this guy, he probably won't mess with you again, atleast from my experiences ages ago.
Hell, I once punched a guy because he stole a bourbon biscuit from me (no i'm not fat and no i'm not a pshyco either).
Point is, it showed him to not mess with me.
Changing schools may be a good option aswell, although I wanted to leave my school back in year 7 and early year 8 for similair reasons, my dad wouldn't let me and managed to convince me to give it an extra month and I am SO gratefull I did. I.E, just make sure you really do want to leave, it's quite a big decission to make.
-
Problem is, he's in the same dorm as me.
And what would be a good way of publicly embarrassing him?
-
Embarrassing photos etc
-
Much easier to just smack him in the face next time he bugs you.
Might seem like the wrong thing to do, or may make you think you're going to get beaten up, but it will still shut him up.
-
Pain doesn't last forever, embarrassment does.
-
Giving the guy a good hiding leads to pain and embarassment.
-
The way I get along is to laugh at the jokes they make of me, I also like to help people and try to get people out of situations like this but what I mostly do is not take part in anything that will make other people know about me like school competitions. Its why about half of my year dont know who I am and dont bother me.
-
why drag yourself down to his level?
do you ever react to what they say?
if you completely ignore everything that is said 100% and continue down the more mature path they will get bored of it and move along.
people only tease or bully for the sake of a reaction.. dont give them one. ;)

That's more or less what I was like. I used to have anger issues, so people would bully me constantly. By the end of second year I had exactly one friend. It was only in third year when I got to know more people, and became more confident in myself that people stopped bullying me.
I guess one way to go about it is try and find something creative to vent your anger, rather than trying to get rid of it immediately. I try playing guitar, writing stuff, drawing things, something to get my thoughts out, rather than keeping them bottled up.

You made an error at end of step 3. Should have said something else.
Aaah, the wonders of lyin- I mean, diplomacy...
-
And I tought I had it hard...
I understand you to some dergree as I was a target of bullying too, but it was onyl verbal and I chose to ignore it and not report anything.
Shcool sucked because of that but atleast I got out without too much of trouble, tought there was the time I was the "rainbow man" for 1.5 years because I happened to have a slightly colorful winter jacket for just 1 DAY, I was about to loose it and yell at them to shut the **** up, but i didnt and they eventually stopped as most of them graduated that year.
Long story short, ignoring things is a fairly good solution.
-
I usally shut bullys up by turning there own joke on them works like charm most of the time. If you want a example look in the thread called "I think I need to calm down" Or something on those lines. If that doesn't work find something he would not like every one knowing about and tell him to shut up or you'll tell a lot of people. Worst come to worst do What Joe said.
-
Piss me off like that, and I would take a sh** in his gym shoes........then whup his ass if he didn't like it!
-
^Lawl.
On a more serious note, just ignore them. I was bullied last year but now they have stopped. It makes me laugh at how they bullied me just because I didn't "fit in" with them. Just because I was different, I went on forums like this and because I didn't mess around in class. They saw that as a "weakness".
Hang in there, buddy. It'll all be alright soon enough. ;)
-
I've been bullied for being different for about the last 10 years of my life. I've got so used to the petty things they do to try and improve their standing with each other it doesn't affect me in the slightest. I just hang about with my friends.
-
Start lifting weights. GET HUGE. SUCK ON IT.
-
I've never been bullied "successfully" in my life.
...maybe because I wasn't such a wimp.

You hard nut ;)
Any Zog, here's a tip which could help in the future; Remember everything bad people do. I have a list for each of my friends. If people bully you, just whip out that list. Soon they will give up. I promise.
-
Lol @ Hard Nut. (Inside joke)
Aah... The dreaded "list". I don't get how that helps. It just fails.
-
It does help. If you have photographic proof and a list it owns.
-
It really doesn't.
-
No, it makes you look like a failure and a dork who resorts to other peoples' help.
-
People who say "Dork" are a "Dork" themselves.
-

Please come back when you have real arguments to present.

So you're a triple "Dork"? :P
I'm only joking. Your list still fails, though.

*Hides under rock because flame war will start*
-
@Gazea, No. I owned Leech with it.
@Serge, Yes, sire...
@Stag, Yeah I'm gonna leave now...
-
*Hides under rock because flame war will start*
Nah, it won't. I'm just having a lil fun with Useless. :P
@Gazea, No. I owned Leech with it.
You may have owned LeAch with it but it hasn't helped you with anything else.
-
You should fill the guy's hard drive with goatse.

Ahem
1: I owned you.
2: I owned Josh.
3: I will publicly humiliate Kieran. It may not be tomorrow or the next day, but soon I will. That d**che deserves it.
-
1) Nope.
2) Yes.
3) Lol?
Let's not fill this thread up. Let's take it onto MSN...
-
Wait, did I miss something?
-
I have had an idea. You need to steal his phone. Take it and hide it. Then, when he gets a new one, send spam mail (of explicit content) to his teachers and hate mail to his friends. Then his popularity will drop and yours will rise as more people are in your situation.
I do not approve of such action, but it avoids violence.
Jokes!
-
Zog, I am sorry for what happened.
My life sucks too.
-
Good god every other thread is somebody bitching about something. I'm really getting sick of this. sh** happens, man up and get over it already. Don't try and bring everyone else into your life problems.
-
What Noodle said. Also:
:TLT
-
Thanks to most of you. I think that I'll be able to sort this out.
-
In the words of Justin Lee Collins: Bad Times.
Noodle, if you're sick of it then don't look at 'every other thread'. Zog, you and all the kids at school are rational people. Either give them the silent treatment, and 'the look', or you could go up to the 'ring leader' and bring give him a reason to stoop to a level so low that you can look down on him, causing him ultimate embarrassment.
-
nice bump.
-
nice bump.
Really, I haven't seen this thread in forever.
-
nice bump.
That's what she said!
Thanks, though.

not my fault, i was just stating the obvious. look at the post dates of the posts above the one you quoted for proof of me being innocent.
-
you and all the kids at school are rational people.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
-
Yeah. I know. Some are dicks.
-
"Dick" is different from "idiot", though both can intersect when you are Stupid Evil.
-
A lot of kids at school can be dumb sometimes, not realising what damage they do with bullying.
-

This is not dumb, this is being amoral. Not caring about the consequences of what you do. It is not necessarily dumb, though it CAN be.
"Dumb" would be someone whacking on others on an irrational thought (in the style "this one is different from me, so he is stupid, so he must suffer") rather than working on themselves to get rid of problem.
Misunderstanding leads to fear, fear leads to anger, anger leads to the dark side. That's why knowledge is power, and one of the reasons I can give why I am an intellectual.
-
Zog, you are not a joke. As I once read in a truck-stop bathroom - 'the joke is in your hands'...
...Oh my god, I just got that.
-
Thankfully everything had cleared up by the time you bumped the thread :P
-
Did you sove it with violence?
