Jonzu, I'm sorry about your loss. I've been through someone in my family dying (although not someone I was close to).

Serge is probably correct in what he is saying. Most people on these forums (the ones you don't know in person) probably don't care about the death of your grandmother. Most people will likely read this thread, post something about it, and carry on with their lives like nothing happened.

That being said, I am sorry for your loss. I am assuming you and your grandmother were relatively close, and it is can be very difficult for you when someone close dies. But you will get over it in the end, people (especially adolescents) almost always do.

Am I the only one who does not feels sorry for jonzu's loss ?

Damn it, when my grandfather died the only regrets I had (and still have) were "why did I not learned from him more". When my grandmother and aunt died, I felt nothing apart than "less things to be bothered about". Then another uncle died, and I felt only a slight sense of loss because he was a fun guy who enjoyed life. Though maybe he enjoyed good food a little too much...

Seriously, why care about the suffering/death of others if it throws your morale in the negative ?

Deal with it jonzu. It'll probably make you more world-weary (and maybe more independent) so this death, partly, is a good thing.

First off, I am sorry to hear that Jonzu. I can understand why you would vent here. It seems that this is where you are most comfortable. The first post does not give me the feeling of a "whining thread", and for that I commend you.

Next, Serge. You are right in some aspects. The people you look at as being "kids" are also that in my eyes, at my age of 20. I understand you don't like the direction GTM is going, but if we want RA2 and GTM to live on, we have to accept the younger generations and their ways.

And IRW... Don't take this the wrong way, but you are very argumenative. That doesn't always turn out to be a good thing. I mean... Look at it this way. If you were to walk up to an elder the same age as Serge and start on him about something that the two of you don't agree upon, what do you think would happen? Just think about it...
