Context is key, whales.

And your facebook point is invalid anyways, cause ACAMS made some threads to troll you as well. Hell you've been so bad in the past he even gave you a new nickname. Sparkbutt. So according to your words, you should SFTU as well.
Jonzbutt?
...why?
Shut up, Jonzbutt.
Also, Sparkry is pure awesome here today.
Also Sparky knows this be a troll thread, and the intended target is clearly quite mad indeed.

First, nothing suggest that flaming are exempted within troll threads.  But let's put this minor detail aside for a moment.

So within the context of this thread, how is Freeziez's behaviors differ from yours or Sparkey's, such that you behaviors are acceptable but not Freeziez?

Also, how is your "reward/punishment" model differ from backseat modding?

Freeziez asked a question and involved me in it. I'm taking the assumption he means in general, as in:

"[in general] Why is it that when I whack someone it's idiotic, but when anyone else, especially you and S32 do it, it's fine?"

Backseat modding is involving yourself within matters where the moderators should/must or will clearly intervene, the "reward/punishment" model is a self imposed form of community peer pressure used to encourage behavior we want (Witty, intelligent, informative or constructive posts and contributions to the RA2 game.) and discourage behavior we don't want. (One word posts, meaningless bumps, needless flaming, PONIES.)

I completely agree. I am fine with backseat/vigilante modding or n00b whacking if it follows this.

Go eat some moldy bread, S32.

The problem is such "internet punishment" never works to begin with.  My wild speculation suggest that S32 approach often add to the flames rather than reduces it, and I have no evidence to back that up.

If anything, I am a prime example in the opposite direction. I used to be worse than sparkey, GtG and whoever, but improved as I was on a forum with a well established Reward/punishment system in place as there was little to no moderation.
