Title: Is $1700.00 too much
Post by: ACAMS on December 13, 2009, 09:24:06 AM
Is $1700.00 too much to pay for a .22 rifle?

I just offered a guy $1000.00 for a used Anschutz 1710 D HB

If he takes me up on it I am gonna have to get it!

OH...here is what it looks like.

As I don't collect guns, I wouldn't know. However, if you consider it value for money, then buy it.

I am pretty sure that there is an unwritten law that abides by common sense:

"Don't sell a defective gun... to somebody that collects guns."

ACAMS will inspect it pretty well when he sees it in person.  If the barrel is screwed he will walk away.

It looks nice. Glorious woodtone on that piece. If you buy it you should hang it on the wall for display, don't throw it in the cabinet with the 100's of others you own.  :P
