As for the playground, it's fine. Playgrounds are for kids who just wanna have fun, and the people there can graduate to the normal forum whenever they want to. Unfortunately, the normal forum is RA2 based.

I'm completely serious. I remember seeing that robot in a google search and drooling, something like "SPINNING WEAPONS horizontal on a disc?! WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF THAT." or the like. Then finding the forum and such.

Noob Warz 2 I Think. Last year.

And he also participated in SSG's "the Amazing Rage" Tourney. Did quite well if I remember correctly.

Considering your 1st bot in your showcase was like 500 times better then anything I ever built.

BECAUSE LIKE 90% OF THOSE ROBOTS OF MINE WERE JUST TARDY FAILED-ATTEMPTS AT COOL STUFF.
.....Years later, when I apparently became "good" at RA2, well, aside from the fact I still cant stack black batteries or control boards into anything, I actually tried building things to the weight limit, based on vauge memories of mine of the old RA2 forum.
No really, my first bot on GTM is like a weird homage to Ancient Clock.
....Which was one of my only 'good' robots from the old forum

How has GTM degraded into this? Out of the 3 pages of new posts I saw when I got home, only 3-4 of the threads were readable and not either utter spam or stuff I didn't want to read.
