Title: Hometown driving!
Post by: Reier on May 29, 2010, 10:57:31 PM
Yeah so I was driving with my cousin home from a town ~30 miles away. It went fine, except nearly hitting a cat in the middle of the road.
So I was about 2 miles from home, but a Combine harvester fell of its trailer in the middle of the road, thus blocking the way home. So I had to go about 10 miles out of the way to get to my house.

Anyone else have this problem lately?

A year ago, a one of those small John Deer things and it's trailer tipped over in the middle of a highway that nobody uses. Guess what it was carrying the trailer, candy. Who puts candy in a trailer?

To be honest, I haven't had this problem in about 5 years. I've been living elsewhere (to such an extent that seeing farm equipment is now a rarity for me instead of the norm). Do I miss it? Not really.

I prefer it to driving in a 'city' with more than 500 people ;D

500? Wow, you do live in the middle of nowhere. My hometown has about 13,000 people (and is surrounded by farmland), and where I live now has more than 300,000 people in it.

I know where Reier lives...

Eris

That IS the middle of nowhere. I'm suprised there are that many people there.
