Actually, I'm more crazy than average about it. I just tone it down here as not to be to to overbearing. If you want an opinion on nearly anything to do with the game, I can give you 1000 or more words on it easily.

And with the Pens gone and the Canucks on the brink, my hockey pool is about to go to hell. Good thing I loaded up on Blues too.

detroit really showed their age more than ever this playoff series. they really need some new young talent because I feel like they're going to try to instill Pavel Datsyuk's mind into a robot and have that play for them forever and it just isn't gonna fly

Well, that plan has worked with Lidstrom so far and Datsyuk's already an android so...

Regardless, with Lidstrom, Holmstrom, Stuart, Hudler all as UFA's, $21 M/yr to spend next season, you can expect them to be quite hot and heavy after Suter and Parise. I wouldn't overreact if I were the Red Wings, though. The 4-vs-5 matchup in either conference is always brutal, and from a run-of-play standpoint, they dominated the Preds in the series. Their problem was cracking through Suter, Weber and Rinne. All in all, much like the anucks, they probably deserved a better fate than they got.

As much as it pains me to say it... The Flyers are probably going out this round. Devils are playing the "trap" really well and Bryz is not being good. He needs white pads so he can find the puck. I bet that will improve his rebound control.
