Hello, I am Badnik96's little brother (I know he's said a bit about me) I finally got on GTM. (thanks ACAMS for getting my account up) I have some cool robot designs and I am working on a mod (called JSL for now). I will post a showcase soon.

So, 027 LB, I notice you have a Diddy Kong Racing avatar. Diddy Kong Racing was my first N64 game. It was marvelous! The DS remake wasn't so good. The removal of certain Rare characters, the changing of the voices, and the touch screen and microphone additions were more annoying than fun.

I didn't get an N64 until Christmas '97, and by that point, none of the local stores had Mario 64... at least not when I actually had money to buy one of those expensive cartridges.

I got it for my dunno-what-manieth birthday, but probably somewhere between '96 and '98, and it came with Super Mario 64.
Recently (well, when the super smash bros-tourney-thing was around on RFSHQ) I downloaded an emulator and started playing, actually clearing Diddy Kong Racing..but then there's a 'new challenge'. Every track is mirrorred and stuff and the coins are on near impossible positions.

What I loved about DKR is that is wasn't just a kart racer; it had a lot of depth. The inclusion of boss races was brilliant, as were all of the hidden things within the tracks. It was superior to Mario Kart 64 in every way. The weapons were upgradable, the karts could also be other vehicles, the graphics were actually polygons instead of 2D sprites in a vaguely 3Dish world, it had a decent physics engine, and the list could go on for days.
That's what made Diddy Kong Racing DS so disappointing. Again, it was released after Mario Kart, but failed to improve upon it. Those who worked on Mario Kart DS knew that making the players take their hands on the controls to stroke the screen or blow into the mic would cause issues, so they didn't do it. Too bad Rare didn't figure this out.

I always feel awful whenever somebody posts one of those pictures. They probably get too much sh** in real life as it is.

She should just get on a diet... not easy unless using drastic measures, but at this point it's a disease and dangerous for all her blood vessels and heart.
I am a big eater as well but don't get fat though :D
