how are tattoos and piercings bodily harm?

If infected needles were used, I suppose AIDS could be transmitted.

D.A.M, thats bad.
But THIS hurts more.
I was minding my own on my bike, i put on the brakes........annnnnnd FLEW OVER THE HANDLE BARS AND MY FACE SMASHED OFF THE GROUND! By the way, i was doing it on the PAVEMENT!
OW!

That reminded me of my tiny slip off my bike many years back:

I was riding round our house and the grass was still wet from last nights rain, so as I came around one of the corners, I noticed my speed was too high and hit the brakes. Then the bike made a short time drift, wich caused me to fall off the seat onto the middle bar(= ball crusher)! I couldnt walk properly for quite a while.

A couple years ago in soccer practice, I kicked the ball as hard as I could (and that is HARD), bounced of the top crossbar of the goal about 15 feet away, came back, and hit me in the face. I was on the ground for about 10 minutes.
I built that big robot on that TV show that time

When i was 10, i was jumping on a friends trampoline when ifell and hit a metal bar holding it. It hurt so bad, i was crying for about 5 hours, but what shocked me was that there was no blood.

I remember when I was four I tried to ride (Read: Fell with) down a flight of concrete steps on the back of an RC car. needless to say that rolling down 14 steps is pretty sore on the body. No major damage.

Today at football practice we where running a drill where an offensive and defensive lineman would go head to head and a running back (thats me) would try to make it by the D lineman. The only trick to this is that you have to run in between to bags that are about 2-3 yards apart which doesn't leave you a lot of room. As i cut to the inside of the lineman he  dropped his block and hit me in the knee and a combination of how he hit me and how i fell led to me dislocating my knee. Which led to a hospital trip and getting it popped back into place which was probably one of the most painful things that i have ever had done. I have to get an MRI tomorrow to make sure there isn't anything else wrong and then i should be able to go back to practice hopefully before the first game.

Apologies for the bump, but I wanted to add.
About a month back, I went kayak surfing. It was fun. Then, while on a wave, a surfboard came out of nowhere and smashed me just above my right eye (i mean, a cm or 2 above - pretty lucky).
My boat went over, I rolled it back, jumped out, and clutched my numb face as a stream of blood ran into the sea. Meanwhile, I was surrounded by jellyfish.
Wasn't very nice, got stitches and all that.

I have never broken a bone either.

When i was 8, i was playing cops and robbers on my bike, i was going a bit too fast when i fell off the seat, my leg got caught in the chain, and i did about 10 barrel rolls. I was bleeding all over.

That was probably the most hurt i've ever gotten in my life.

Not that big of a bump, actually... We had a member that used to always bump year(s) old threads, but he is banned now (He was extremely annoying and obnoxious).

ok i have 3 and they go from ouchiest to least ouchiest.

1. this is actually my bros. he was over at his friends house on a snow day. they were playing snowball baseball(whack a snowball w/ a aluminum bat) my bro decided it would be funny to put snow in his friends shoe. when he was right behind his friend, his friend took a hard swing at a snowball. the bat whacked my brother in the jaw, pushing his teeth into his lower li and breaking them off(inside the lip).

2.(me this time) i had just gotten home from my friends house. we had a squirtgun fight(more like pressure washer fight) so i took off my t- shirt cuz it was soaking. i then decided to do some scootering. i went own my pretty steep driveway at lik 20mph and into a sharp turn. basically if straght up on the scooter is 0 degrees, i was at 60 degrees. What do you know? a stick just happend to go under my front wheel, and making the centrifugal force that kept me from going boom dissapear.
i ripped about 10 square inches of skin off of my shoulder.

3. ok i was cutting a pice of platic w/ a serrated knife. i was holding the pice of platic in som pliers, and the knife slipped. the knife went right across the middle knuckle in my thumb , cutting it open. it only hurt like i wuz getting pinched, but i decided to pull the gash open a little. i could see cartilage and almost threw up(it wuzzz groose)

I havent gotten hurt really much, but my little brother has had 2 really big incidents.

once, I was trying to go to sleep and my little brother was bugging me. I slammed the door shut but I was like 7 at the time and didnt realize I had slammed his finger in the door. He started bleeding all over the place and he lost his fingernail.

The other one is when my dad, my brother and I went on a bike ride a couple weeks before I joined the forums. we were going down a big hill and I swerved to avoid a pothole. he ended up slamming the brakes and rolling halfway down the hill. He skinned his scalp, thigh and elbow, and it took 2 weeks to heal.

I dunno if this counts, but one time I dropped a cinderblock several inches onto my thumbnail. It was all black under the nail for over a week, and I could hardly use my thumb.
