Wich brand of robot fighting did you like the best
BTW all of these are cancled now and it sucks but BB is actually coming back this December
-
i only ever saw any of the robot wars ones but im gonna go for battlebots for the destructive robots on it.
-
RFL is slowwwwwww.
-
put an "o" between the "R" and "F" in RFL to see what I think of it.
ROFL: I think its a joke answer in white text
-
Battlebots, even though I entered an RFL tournament once.
-
more people liked battlebots than i thought
-
robot wars has always been more active for me.. battle bots was just a huge weapon and slowly move it into your opponent, there just didnt seem to be much straogy it was just hope your weapon kills the other before your opponant
dont get me wrong battle bots was great, I still love it but I prefer robot wars
-
Battlebots made a real mockery of the sport; between the buffoon commentators, the liberally-given bye's, the fact that they only showed a handful of the matches... painful to watch. And Bill Nye was insufferable, no disrespect to the Science Guy, but he contributed NOTHING.
-
I never watched either of them really, but seen all on Utubee
-
I think robot wars got better and better as time went on.. shame BBC sold it or it would probably still have been on.. wonder what happened to the house robots ? it would be sad to see them just rusting away in a storage shed
-
I've always though that the BB machines were much more vicious, but there was a certain something that Craig Charles and the British Robot Wars had that made it much more enjoyable.

The arena was sold to the Storm II team captain Ed Hoppit, and the house roots were donated to charity. BTW, I like Robot Wars, but Battlebots at a close second.
-
RW was basically a TV SHOW. Full of flippers with lame paintjobs, useless flamethrowers, that commentator was lame, the pit ghey and the house robots even faggiest. Now i can perfectly stand watching it and i enjoyed some of the competitors/fights, but BB was much more exciting.
Battlebots was true robotic combat, with actual one hit kills, bots flying, massive damage, and finally that was bot against bot... not just pushing the opponent in a house robot or in a pit.

from what I heard the network that brought over RW for series 7 brought only the show nothing else, the rights to the names, merchandise, etc all still belonged to BBC so with no way to make money off it that scrapped it
the house robots were donated to charity ?

I watched and enjoyed both.
RW was good, but it was hyped up, showy via special effects (appended 'attention- holders').
BB was not hyped as much, but mostly the core of things,... bots battling.
.
-
Robot Wars with Mick Foley was the only one I ever saw as a kid.
-
I go with RW.
In germany they only showed series 3, 4 and the german wars but i loved it. RW got better with the time but i think it lost something during series 6. it became a bit boring.
I dislike Battlebots but i don`t know why. maybe because it`s "to much" to me.
but they got some realy cool robots.
-
whos the person who voted RFL
ROFL
-
but i think it lost something during series 6. it became a bit boring.
series 6 was ok as a whole but some heats were epically boring, the panic attack heat was reallllly boring except the final when terrorhurtz brought people back to life... and so did Matilda :P
the tornado heat has really slow too ( I think most of tornados matches were boring... storm 2 was way more entertaining)
-
storm 2 is one of my favorite bots
-
BB sucks! Arena is poor, Robot wars is best!
(edit) You forgot Robosota!
