I think Story Time is kinda enough. There's too many Roleplay topics that have a very limited interest range, Preytor posted one about something to do with warrior cats...I just think it's starting to get out of hand. If you want to RP about these things, presumably there's an RP forum somewhere you can do that. But this forum is, first and foremost, a Robot Arena 2 forum. The moment that roleplaying overtakes bot building, we know we're definitely doing something wrong.

Every day a new roleplay pops up. A while ago people were joining just for the role play. This is the one and only forum left o nthe internet for RA2 and all people do here is make roleplay threads.

I can only think of Scourge of teh Galaxy joining for the Roleplaying, personally.

And I think Sparkey's going a bit overboard saying "All people do is make RP threads", there's still a wealth of great builders, S_M, GK, Somebody to name a few, and a good chunk of newcomers ready to learn and improve, like RedAce, TRiaS, Ben Purse, people like that. Maybe you should head back to the Bot Lab, try your hand at Robot Arena 2 again, instead of complaining about what a very small and not terribly significant percentage of the forum do.

Once again, agreed. The only way the forum will die is if we all get paranoid about things like roleplaying.

Ok explain to me why there is a junkyard section hmm. It is there for people who don't just care about RA2. I'm sick and tired of people saying 'this forum is for RA2' or 'enough roleplay'. There is a junkyard section for those reasons. Those are my 2 cents on the topic.

I think he means lurk moar on 4chan. Then use lots and lots of mind soap.

And Preytor, you have got a point about the Junk Yard being a place for things that don't really go anywhere, but this is, as I said, primarily a Robot Arena 2 forum. It should kinda take precedent over most things, in my view. The Junk Yard should really be a sideshow, and not the main attraction. I'm not saying that we should completely remove anything unrelated to Robot Arena 2, but I don't think that we should have a bunch of different Roleplay threads about either very similar, or very narrow subject ranges. I think we should stick with Story Time, in my view, rather than have multiple roleplay topic posted in by not very many people.
