And then there was the time I was helping a friend not commit suicide. We were praying for him and he survived drinking a bottle and a half of Everclear.

Prayer does have power. My Grandma is still alive even after she had canser(sorry can remember and spell check not working with me) and was sent home to die. I could put you in contacted if you want proof.

It's not the power of prayer in this case, it's the power of believing in yourself. Morale, in other words.

Depends on constitution, genes and even metabolism control if you control your body well enough (i mean Yogi-level, REALLY DAMN GOOD).
