I'm not, I'm only concertrating to my Computer! How about you?
-
Nope. H1N1 is an overated, reletivly weak strain of influenza virus. It has caused few deaths in comparison to other strains. People who are young and healthy and still pay for vaccines are wasting their money.

That is so true! I Agree, I'm not gonna take that stupid spike...
-
Already had it.
-
Not really, but if that shot they are giving is free, then I guess im going to take it, you cant be too careful right?
I should be relatvely safe from it at my computer, but mom and my lil bro like to go around places alot, so there is a chance they bring it home.
-
Far from worried about H1N1.
-
Nyet. I like being sick. I get to stay home from school.
-
Im more worried about the bird flu...
-
I'm more worried about the Zombie flu.

Ah yes, the notorious H5N1 "bird flu". At least for now, we have nothing to worry about from it. It cannot be transmitted from person to person, and is quite rare in humans. The only threat would be if it mutated, which is so far unlikely.
-
lucky for you guys.

lucky for you guys.
Oh.............. I get it.

I'm sick of people treating H1N1 as if it was the plague. Here's a good example: in one of my hour and 15 minute classes, several people got up something like TWELVE TIMES to go and apply hand sanitizer. At that point, more sanitizer is probably more harmful then helpful. I really have to ask: why?
-
Nope.
-
People should worry about things that actually has a good chance of happening, like getting into a car accident.

Quoted for truth.
Our health officials take the thing very seriously... hell, it'll degenerate into a psychosis if it continues like that.

^^^
True dat.
Even in here, swine flu deaths aren't a surprise, considering the fact that the most advanced part of the country is also the dirtiest. Even the government suspended our classes for 2 weeks. Which led to rushed lessons. Which led to more rushed homework. Which led to increased stress. Which led to bad grades. >:E

People who are young and healthy are most at risk for this disease. It's still a bit rare, but the disease itself is far from weak.
-
I ain't afraid of no flu...

Risk of catching it, not dying from it or developing serious complications like those in old people or young children. And it is weak. Mortality rates average at around 0.15%. Around 3400 people have thus far died of H1N1, while 800 people a week die of the common flu virus.
-
H1N1 is gay your more likely to be killed by the regular flu than the swine flu
-
The thing that concerns me about the shot is that they announced that they have the cure at the same time as they announced the virus. Did they expect the virus to come and made a cure for it beforehand?
-
OOOO MYSTERIOUS

What the **** are you talking about? The vaccine came out a month or two ago, whereas the disease was being warned about a year or so ago.
-
Huh, I guess time does indeed fly sometimes, to me it seems like it was just about half a year ago they were both announced...

They announced they were working on a vaccine when the news of a potential outbreak occurred, but it wasn't ready until recently.
