Freeziez, please tell me you are not a conspiracy theorist.

No, it's just that they didn't need to fill a plane up with jet fuel, hijack it, and fly it into the building, they could have just blown it up.

Jason explains it best:

Yeah, but the goal was to cause maximum shock and maximum casualties, so for that, a plane was the more effective choice.
im just waiting for meganerdbomb to come along and kick things into gear.

10 years ago, at the same day, we bought "new" car, Blue Toyota Corolla.. When we were going home, we heard recent news from the radio... When we arrived home, dad turned up the TV and wwatched the broadcast... Though I was so young so I didn't understand what happened...

Anyway, it's very sad that this did happen... I wish that this kind of horrible terrorism wont happen ever again...

Toyota. Are you serious?
Shut up and deal with it.

Noodle, name a single good American car.

You know, one that doesn't need a refueling every 5 seconds of driving.

Anyway, I've made my own opinions on 9/11 clear IRL and online before.
Why can we make fun of the holocaust but not 9/11? Why are Nazi jokes garenteed laughs but Al Queda group jokes not?

Put this onto your signature if you were part of this crappy fad in '03.

I'm sure if you told a holocaust joke to a holocaust survivor he/she wouldn't laugh either. The main difference is 9/11 is still a lot more recent, and a lot of people who were directly affected by it are still around to be offended. I still laugh every time I look at that Hulk Hogan picture I posted though. The last panel gets me every time.

Making fun of terrorists has always been fair game :/

Anyways, my memory of 9/11 was watching it on the T.V. with my family. My Grandad, who was an extremely experienced and respected structural engineer, was on the phone with my Mum at the time. I remember him describing in detail that not only were the towers both going to collapse, but that they were going to "pancake." Sure enough, within minutes, the first tower came down exactly as he described.

Because of this, I laugh at anyone who tries to conclude that explosives brought the towers down because "they just don't fall like that on their own." They totally do, and any decent structural engineer knows this.
