50 dollar DS- Buy?

Im looking for a used DS on Ebay (So I can get Pokemon X) and saw some used ones going for 50-60. I am receiving my High school grade allowance (41 dollars) And my chores allowance (10 dollars) and I won a bet (10 dollars). I am not sure if I want to buy, knowing the DS may have issues. I wanted to ask you guys if you had any wisdom for me.

It's not a regular DS is it?  You're going to need a 3DS to play Pokemon X.  And you won't even find a broken one for $60.

Yeah, 3DS. Sorry, I am very keen on buying one for 50. I have a DS lite and that does not do crap for me now. I am willing to go 60 or up and want to avoid anything over 100.

If you've found a used 3DS for $60-$100, there's definitely something wrong with it.
