Well, my ipod's broken.
I didn't drop it, I didn't get it wet, I didn't feed it after midnight.

My 360 broke it.

I just thought i'd plug it into my 360 to play some music while i played f1 2010 and then the ipdo disconected mid-song.
Not only is everything deleted from it, but it won't connect to ANYTHING!

The morale of the story is, microsoft and apple don't mix.

i have PS2, NES and Wii down at the TV, so no musics while playing, unless i use my DS for music. my PS3 is here right next to my PC screen so i can always play music from my PC while playing something on the PS3.

I just used the 360 player so it would sync over the in game sound well.

The 360's music player is the worst i've ever come across anyway.

Still can't get my ipod to work, I can almost see the grim reaper looming over it

Don't blame Bill. Ipods are rubbish anyway. They are overpriced and not compatible with anything, and they do nothing better than any other mp3 player. I have a Creative Zen X-Fi, and I connect it to my 360 to play music pretty much every time I play CoD 4. It plays BRILLIANT video and music, has good memory, can have an SD card, is compatible, is stylish, and is cheap. The choice is obvious.

EDIT: and has decent headphones.

An iPod is a fashion accessory, more than anything else. At least it is where I come from. I'm getting on fine with my MP3 Player at the minute. Might only be 4GB, but I'm never going to listen to 80GB's worth of songs.

That's the thing.
I DO have over 80GB of music, that's why I got the ipod.

Well then get a Zen X-Fi, and a couple of SD cards. It won't cost as much as an iPod, and it's got video and sound quality that places it second in the PMP chart...to the iPod touch, but the X-Fi's cheaper.

i agree on ipods being nothing but junk. i have my old MP3 player of 2 GB that still works very well.
but i will still say that xbox is bad stuff, but lets not debate about that for a change.

Yeah, but you also need memory. Oh, and the 8GB version of the X-Fi doesn't have Wi-Fi, but the higher ones do...wierd!

It's a 120GB ipod classic that's about 2/3 years old
