That was something I whipped up quickly.. I wil make a proper skin when I have a bit more time to dedicate

The tile floor actually is white funny enough, its the electric overlay image that darkens the whole arena down (image is used as a floor lighting object)

They will collide with opponents (not the robot they came from though) but wont cause damage..

So how is the bounciness ? Have you already tried it with four standard trinity fliers ? Do they not spend loads of time flying in their corner ?

I hope this is going to be a giant box filled with epic, win, lag, chaos and awesome. Hell, as this is probably going to be THE MOST AWESOME CHALLENGE EVER (even better than Epic Showdown), I'm pretty sure that you could make a teaser video of four standard trinity fliers (Black Sheep) duking it out for a preview, and you will be loved even more by nearly everyone here ! (If you have the time of course)

I made some dodgy 1min Trinity flier and put four in the arena. They have a bit of Areal Dog-fighting action before loosing pistons.. then 3 were bumbling around on the ground while pistons and maces flew around the arena like ping pong balls :P

So it should be entertaining..

if they all take a pile of damage in the first minute and none can fly I might swap up the format a bit, declare the last robot capable of flight the winner then say first to win 3 matches?

Dont be fooled the arena is still a cube.. it also uses white lighting maps so its a bit brighter to see robots..

I just finished writing a new "Airforce.py" AI for the robots (yet to test though)

I have said I always wanted to introduce Epic Showdown as a series.. this would be the second Epic Showdown and your right.. the candy could be adapted..

WOO the action is AWESOME

Though there is time when they dont make contact.. so im just going to shrink the arena a tad to keep them closer together (still larger then the combat zone though..)
