Well, historically there have been three kinds of robots.

1. IRL robots
An IRL needs to be buildable and drivable in the real world and pass an IRL safety test.
2. Semi-realistic robot
You can the part together IRL, but you'll need a special effects team and a multi-million dollar budget to get the robot to move/not break.
3. Unrealistic robots
You need computer graphics to make this work because these robots are 100% bonkers.

IronForge uses #2 95% of the time.
