Title: Tutorial on BFE'ing a burst
Post by: kix on April 24, 2017, 12:58:10 PM
Hello Guys!

I am going to show you how to BFE hammers and axes. (I couldn't find any tutorial about it soo...)
First of all you should build a bot (Obviously), and add a burst (any).
After attaching a weapon, change 'Range of motion start' to the desired angle, and change 'range of motion end' to the far left or right (depending on how is the burst placed).
It should look like this:

Now Export the bot and exit the game.*
Locate the bot in the Robot designs folder, and open it with Notepad++
Locate the BurstMotor text in it

The dot I marked is important (You don't need to do this. Why would you? It's a reference) as the numbers next to it are non other than the range of burst. The first number (in this case 1.34135) is the starting point of the burst. The second (-2.4) is the ending point of the burst.
The second number has to be changed (modified), i am changing it to -2.8

Import the bot and voila! When you fire it it fires all the way!

Now, you can fine tune the number for the better preciosion. And that is it! I hope that this was actually helpful!

*You can also locate the bot from teams folder.

Sorry Avalanche. I had to do it for the n00bs.
