I don't know about you guys, but I HATE axle loading. Just takes way too long. So I came up with another way. Takes a little practice, but it's 10x faster. Here's a video- /raw.gametechmods.com/vids/Tuts/New Axle Loading Glitch.wmv (http://raw.gametechmods.com/vids/Tuts/New Axle Loading Glitch.wmv)

I found an even faster way. I posted it a while back but no one really seemed to care.
It uses counter-weights, and is the primary way I axle-load in DSL.

I use a method that's very similar, the only difference is that I attach the extender parallel to the baseplate, not perpendicular.

Oh I see. So you can attach items directly to the axle that way? Because this way you attach them to the motors and the axle is far away, then you switch them.
-
Pretty much, yeah. I was a bit confused when I saw your video actually. I always thought axle-loading kept the attachment point on the axle. Clearly I was mistaken.
Using the counter-weiht technique, the attachment point stays on the axle.

Chaining motors for easier axle loading? I've been using that for a while now...
And i think snapper loading is much harder... excepted in DSL, with a copal on a skirt hinge.
-
Haha Sage you JUST found out about this? I haven't axle loaded using axles probably over a year.
I thought you knew about this. :P
-
I've never done it any other way.
